Janus Cappadocia

We went there based on the hotel's rating. Hotels in Ortahisar are newer than those in Göreme, but this hotel is 4 years old, clean, has a delicious and filling breakfast, and isn't cheap. The underfloor heating and cooling work very well, and the staff are attentive and friendly. What more could we ask for?

The hotel was clean and cosy. Ali Bey was very helpful and gave us detailed information about the tours and nearby attractions. Breakfast was plentiful, and every morning they served two different hot dishes in addition to the standard options. If you order anything extra, the prices are very reasonable, and the food is delicious compared to other places in the area. We occasionally had an issue with the hot water, especially for the jacuzzi, but we didn't want to bother them as the hotel staff was extremely nice and respectful to us. Ortahisar is a calm and quiet town — perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful stay, though not much is going on in the area and you have to take a tour or a taxi to see other places unless you have a car. We would definitely choose this hotel again for a relaxing and chill holiday.

Cappadocia visit

Wonderful place. The rooms are luxurious. Great location. Besir, the manager looked after all our extra requests (balloon rides, car rentals, camel rides - even laundry). We were spoiled. Best restaurant in Ortasehir as well. Excellent cook and great service. We had a truly wonderful time.
