Completely Different From the Photos

I do not recommend going there. I booked a room but did not stay even a single night because the rooms were very small, had a bad smell, the door would not close, and there were several other problems no one would expect. Do not trust the photos you see online or from anyone working there or earning a commission, because when you arrive, it is completely different. They will not even give you a refund.

I do not recommend it. It is the worst hotel. Zero treatment. Zero cleanliness. The host insulted me in front of my young daughter and expelled me from the hotel because I disagreed with him about...

A very, very, very bad place and worse treatment than I could imagine. Theft in the price of accommodation, with the filth and the smell of dirt and mold I do not recommend it I was treated with all rudeness, impoliteness and disrespect from the receptionist and he was an old and rude sheikh. He kicked me out and disrespected me in front of my young daughter because he wanted to raise the price on me after we agreed on a certain price

Very bad experience

Very bad experience , we booked a standard double room and this what they can ofer us when we arrived , very rude front disk employee and no help to got ,
we booked another nearby hotel right away , this is not a place to stay

I couldn't contact with them using their phone number. It was through messenger that I could ask about transportation service. They charge 35€ to pick you up from the airport, so I decided to use public transport. The staff do not speak English, it is difficult to communicate with them. I spent New Year's Eve with a group of people I met, and coming back to the hotel I found it was closed. The man that came to open looked at his watch and gave me a judging look, very unprofessional. The toilet was dirty the first day and I had to ask for someone to clean it. That was the only cleaning they did. The room wasn't cleaned for 4 days, and I told them from the second day that they should do it. My room was okay but noisy (the hotel is situated in a busy street very well connected with public transport). Breakfast is what you can expect, it is nice to explore the city having eaten something. However, there is not enough space in the dining room and once I had to share table with an unknown person, either a worker from the hotel or a member of the family's owner. I paid before going through Expedia (flight hotel), and when doing the check out one of the workers told me to pay for the 6 nights (again?). I stayed for 1 week and I wouldn't recommend HamzaBey hotel. If you organise yourself and can visit Istanbul in less than 1 week, book a better hotel for 2-3 nights. It will be the best option.
