Five stars for location. It is literally walkable to the mosques and bazaars and trams. The staff are very helpful. We were given a room on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. The staff carried our suitcases all the way up the stairs. The room had air conditioning which was amazing in 30 degrees Celsius weather. The beds have no blankets just sheets but you can ask the staff and they will supply you with blankets. The room was small and bathroom needed to be renovated. If you’re from North America this would be a 2 star hotel but for the area it was a pleasant stay.

there is so amazing
all of the staff are very kind,peaceful,
the breakfast is also good,and close to famous mosque!

Excellent location of hotel, very close to Ayasofya,second time we stayed here, and will definitelystay again. All staff is brilliant, especially Ismail who was always very helpful. Breakfast is great and plenty to fill up to start your day.

The best hotel in Istanbul

This is the fifth time we've come to this hotel! Meets Ismail at the reception as dear acquaintances, so from the first minute we feel at home. Breakfasts are great, enough for half a day for sure. Tea, coffee, water on the ground floor, you can have a full lunch or dinner with what you brought from the city. The hotel itself is authentic, real Turkish, Istanbul. Not the posh one everyone must be used to on the Turkish coast. There's an Ottoman spirit in him, the one, the real one. Cleaning is beautiful every day, slippers are even changed, bed linen is perfect. The rooms are small but cozy, we are always given a room with a view of St. Sophia. But in summer, because of the foliage and tall trees, you can't see it from the window. The location is perfect wherever you go, everything is close, and the tram, and St. Sophia with Top Cape, and the park Gulhane. Thank you to everyone who hosts and works at this wonderful hotel. I recommend you all and we'll always stop you here.

Brilliant staff and location

The hotel is an average B&B but the staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is amazing. Just a few minutes walk to the Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque etc. Its good value for money if you are not expecting a 5 star hotel.
