Great stay in Cappadocia

Stayed here 4nights. The location is super great and staying inside a cave is special.
The owner Islam is a very nice and warm person always willing to help and gave me very useful suggestions. He also helped me to book a balloon and horse riding tour with very good price.
The bed is very comfortable. It’s a mix dorm but I slept like a baby.
Will stay here again if I go vistrit Cappadocia again. Highly recommend!!

Cancelled our reservation

They contacted me 1 day after I received my confirmation as there was "a problem with the booking site and the room you selected is not available". I checked with booking.com, but they didn't know anything about it. Then the hotel asked me to initiate the cancellation pretending that I wanted to cancel!

Nice hostel, terrible customer service

1) Not possible to cook for three days (at least, as I am not sure they solved the issue after I left) as there was no gas and the owner did not care at all: impossible to cook rice, pasta, anything
2) Zero flexibility at all, I came in one day, with no booking, numerous beds were available, I paid three nights upfront and after the first night I asked to only stay two nights instead of one and the owner said no even though I did warn them very much in advance; given the problem stated in 1) they could have been much more flexible and even without any problem in 1) they could have been flexible
3) They do not sell the best green tour (the tour they suggested did not include the monastery)

Best Hostel Experience

This is by far the best Hostel experience I have ever had, bearing in mind that I am not exactly hostel age anymore. I have met so many people from around the globe and we have shared so many travel tips and life skills and lessons learned. It’s the best booking I have made by far in my 8 weeks of travel. I will always return to Homestay Cave Hostel.

They made me feel at home ♥️!

If I could give 11/10, then I would love to give this rating to this hostel. It in true sense is home stay. Ali and liyas are amazing hosts. They made me feel welcomed and are very very warm people.
Also the hostel is very very clean, and you feel you are living in a cave. I absolutely enjoyed my stay and will highly recommend to everyone. Much love ❤️
