Se trouvant à La Marsa (Gammarth), The Residence Tunis est à moins de 15 minutes en voiture de Amphithéâtre Romain de Carthage et de Villas Romaines. Cet hôtel au bord de la plage se trouve à 10,3 km de Cathédrale Saint-Louis et à 10,6 km de Musée national de Carthage. Un petit déjeuner buffet gratuit est servi tous les jours de 06 h 30 à 10 h 30. Les équipements et services proposés incluent un centre d'affaires, un service de location de limousines/berlines et un service de nettoyage à sec / blanchisserie. Si vous devez organiser une réunion à La Marsa, faites confiance à cet hôtel qui dispose d'espaces événements mesurant 4 mètres carrés et comprenant un espace de conférence et des salles de réunion. En échange d'un supplément, l'hébergement propose une navette vers et depuis l'aéroport (24 h/24) et un parking avec voiturier se trouve dans l'enceinte de l'hébergement. Avec un ameublement personnalisé, les 170 chambres de l'hébergement vous invitent à la détente et comprennent un minibar et une télévision à écran plat. Nice start of our tour in Tunisia
lots of chargers provided (although no USB port)
The whole resort was super spacious. Don’t miss the small path leading to the beach (which was a stunning surprise where we saw a very impressive ocean with various Colors AND some camels and horses near the waves! There was also a small beach front restaurant next to the camels (but only open for lunch). However, beware if you walking towards the right hand side of the cafe along the beach….within 1km…a pack of fierce dogs would come out and chase tourists wildly…the left hand side was much more peaceful.
Besides the big outdoor pool, we also relaxed in the spa, with heated indoor pool and jacuzzi, sauna and steam room etc, all perfectly decorated in their cultural theme and was super relaxing after a whole day out.
Bugs in our room was one nuisance but they disappeared after the second day in our four night stay so it was ok.
We had dinner and breakfast in the buffet restaurant (both indoor and outdoors). Heard the Chinese restaurant Li Bai was very very good but it was a pity we didn’t try.
Front desk also arranged a taxi pick up around mid night which was very helpful when arriving in an unfamiliar country late at night. And it was only half the price of what we usually paid our agent!!!
One funny thing we discovered: the issue of spoons…in the breakfast buffet, a lot times there’s no serving spoons for dry food (not even sesame seeds or other smaller seeds so we had to gently tilt the container so small amount will drop into our cup of yogurt….). While there was a spoon for food with liquid, no serving spoons were provided for the nearby dry food so some customers used the wet spoon to scoop dry food and made a mess. Inside our room there were two tea cup sets, but funny only one spoon was provided….to share I guess???

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are pleased to hear that you found our hotel very nice, and we sincerely regret that certain aspects of the service did not fully meet your expectations.
Regarding the water at the gym, our approach is part of The Residence Tunis’s sustainable development strategy, aimed at reducing the use of single-use plastic. We therefore provide guests with a dispenser offering fresh mineral water and glasses, allowing us to maintain the comfort of our guests while reducing plastic consumption.
With regard to the beach, we would like to clarify that our private beach is regularly maintained and kept clean. The areas on either side are public beaches, whose upkeep is unfortunately outside our direct responsibility. We nevertheless regularly encourage the relevant authorities to take the necessary measures to improve the cleanliness of the coastline.
We have also taken note of your comments regarding the breakfast service and will share them with our team, as we are always looking for ways to improve our service and anticipate our guests’ needs.

One of the highlights is definitely the breakfast, which is excellent — great quality, plenty of choice, and something I always look forward to when staying here.
If there is one thing that needs improvement, it would be some renovation and refurbishment. After visiting for so many years, I have noticed that parts of the hotel are starting to feel a little worn and could use an update to fully match the luxury standard of the property.
Despite this, The Residence Tunis remains a very special place to me. The warm atmosphere, wonderful staff and feeling of being at home are what keeps me coming back year after year.
