Amazing

I had a wonderful time in the beautiful bungalow with the big ocean-view window and AC. For me it felt like home. Andrew always had some nice words for us and was helpful with motorbike problems and so on. The only thing you should know is, if you go there you really need a motorbike. If you are scared to drive, you should stay somewhere nearer to the beach. But it’s amazing how quiet and save the resort is, because it’s on the hill in the jungle. For me it was perfect ❤️

Great views but an average stay

The views from this place are incredible. It is located a top a very steep hill so something to bear in mind. We found for the cost of the accommodation against the quality / standard of the room to be a bit high for what it was. We did find the speed given at check in to be a little much as it was very much encouraged not to want your towels etc changed frequently/ before 3 days. However we did find other parts of it to be helpful. It was just a lot and very intense. It’s a very quiet spot which is nice if that’s what you are after. The pool area albeit very small is nice but some smaller and maybe a few more sun loungers at the pool instead of the larger wooden ones definitely would not go a miss as there is no where else to lay by if someone is on them.
The bed in our room honestly just wasn’t great at all with very thin pillows.
Overall our stay was fine but would not be in a hurry back.

Avoid.

We arrived a few hours late as our luggage had been left back in ko samui. Upon arrival we were spoken to like children by Andrew telling slus the rules and regulations and how important things like turning the lights off were when leaving the room. Not sure if he is the owner or just the front guy either way I couldn't take to him. The location and the walk to sairee beach is dangerous and soul destroying, they really should warn people that unless you have a car or a moped this hotel is just not doable. Nowhere to sunbathe by pool apart from 3 wooden sunbeds in the shade. The pool hasn't been cleaned for about 20 years it's filthy. The air con in the room was blowing out warm air. Every time u saw andrew u felt like u were going to get told off decided to end our stay 2 days into 5 to move to a hotel closer to the beach and also a hotel that cares a bit more about there guests

Horrible experience and an owner who justifies everything and never questions himself

Horrible experience you can go see my detailed opinion on booking and Google. Here we can only put a few texts. The owner manages this establishment in the west he forgets that he is in Thailand. Go see the negative reviews they all agree with. Unhealthy mind he monitors your actions by video it is obsessive at home and when you make opinions he always accuses you him never questioning himself. Really a hotel with soulless and unhealthy. To flee

Dear people, please take a look at booking.com and Google and you will see that we have a lot of good comments there and that there are also lesser ones like this one. Only this guest "forgets" to mention that he booked with booking.com for 2 people but is bringing an extra child aged 4 years, while we only allow adults. Because they arrived at 9 p.m. in the evening, we felt sorry for them and did not send them away, but we did charge them extra. All this at the risk that other guests will complain because there are children. As a thank you, a negative review. ridiculous.

The perfect hideaway

If you’re looking for a peaceful place with incredible views, comfortable beds, then this is the place to stay!! I absolutely loved my 10 days here. Andrew was an amazing host and really helpful with things to do on the island, restaurant recommendations, scooter hire, and top tips for Koh Tao. The lady (I’m so sorry I didn’t get her name) was also very friendly and always happy to help. They serve a really reasonably priced breakfast, and have a small selection of drinks and snacks for when food is finished. There aren’t any restaurants close by but the rooms have a refrigerator so you can stock up from 7-11 or if you can ride a scooter the main area is only a 5 minute drive away. I can’t recommend this place enough and if I ever return to Koh Tao I will 100% stay here again! The hammock, the pool, the beautiful sunset view, it’s just perfect! Thank you so much guys
