Breakfast was okay. Bed so hard most of guests complaining about this when we were having breakfast. Back pain. Hotel has a nice canal view.

Keep looking, you can do better for the money

Our first warning sign that we had made a terrible mistake came during our taxi ride into the jungle, over a road that deteriorated to a washed-out gravel path that terminated among a dozen or so shanty-like huts. The walk down to the open-air reception desk was uneven, rutted and actually hazardous in places. The rooms consisted of individual huts in varying stages of decrepitude. The running water had an unsavory brown tint. And for this I paid 1,100 baht?? Last night we stayed in a much better place, for much less money.
I will say one good thing about this place: our lunch was very good, although expensive. The view of the river is very picturesque. And, the bad is spacious and comfortable. But beyond those few positives, the primitive facilities are such that we cannot recommend this destination as a dream holiday experience. Not until they bring in the bulldozers and make way for a REAL resort.

Disappointing !

For 1,300 Baht per night, I expected more. Clearly, the best feature of this resort is the actual bed which is gigantic and extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, the size of it dominates the room and leaves little space to maneuver around. We came on a Friday night for 1 night and then the monsoon rains hit hard which left little else to do other than to sleep and play on the internet. Thank god the wifi is good here. However, I found that the shower often had either no hot water or no water at all. The breakfast is a joke.. just some coffee, bread, and porridge. Again, for this kind of price per night I expected more. I'm glad we just stayed here for 1 night. I won't be returning here again.

Quiet, simple resort

We (couple) stayed here for one night after a visit to Khao Sok lake. We were the only guests there. Staff is friendly, but untrained and they don't speak English very well. Google translate was very helpful in this matter. Food is average at best and relatively expensive. However, the surroundings are beautiful and very quiet (nearest town is a 15 min drive). The bungalow is nice; simple and clean and some have stunning river views. Overall we had a pleasant stay, but the resort could do with a few improvements.
