Cozy and well serviced accomodation with very friendly staff at Chaloklum
The very friendly staff with Mr. Aung does its best, to fulfill all your needs and keep the apartment every day clean. If there will be a problem, it will be fixed immediately. Everything is totally relaxed and uncomplicated. You need a scooter to get around - Chaloklum with markets for shopping and Malibu Beach is not far, also Haad Khom Beach (really cozy for an afternoon sunbath). Everything you need is not far, if you have a scooter. Also it is quiet at daytime and nighttime.
We would strongly recommend this accomodation and we will return with our next holidays :-)

TO FLEE
A priori a beautiful view of the sea but:
_ Essential means of transport ( No food or drink. 2 bottles of 50cl supplied for 4 people for 4 days )
_ The hotel beach is accessible only by sandalette , swimming and snorkling are impossible.
Taxi boats can only come at high tide!
_ To go to the pool you have to go by road.
_ equipment is strenuous (ventilators, tetanus vaccine needed to get to the gym, rotten furniture and kitchen) or not functional. The manager explains that if the electric plates do not work it is because you do not know how to use them .
_ Disgusting and dishonest manager. Attempts to take a huge margin on each service, takes as an excuse the deposit as soon as possible (5000 baths). Have him cash in without making repairs right now.
_ the manager thinks tourists are cash cows, invokes the intervention of the police in case you want to put a negative opinion on his "work".

Painful
No safe food place or nearby. No water provided by the property either.
Aging electrical equipment , broken down for some such as hobs or some outlets. (The batteries of the remote controls of the fans have not been replaced since they were put into Service - the ventilation does not therefore work and you should not rely on the personnel to replace them! ).
Manager of the establishment who thinks his function is to stay behind his desk doing nothing but trying to defraud passing tourists.
