Budget lodgings in a pleasant garden setting.

Budget lodgings on the southern outskirts of Patong, the resort is easily accessible if you have your own transport. There is plentiful parking for motorcycles and space for a few cars. The rooms are quite basic, but clean and well maintained. Away from the road, they are quiet, and in a garden setting the resort has a relaxed atmosphere.

Thailand free life

We need to sleep in a clean place near the nice beach with reception 24/24 .. and that changes sheets every day... found .. 4 times we go .. we always take the de luxe with tv bathroom shower air conditioning .. this year has become a little expensive .. pero no longer rent the scooter ( in 2012.. I gave!!).. and 800 meters from the beach and close to c and everything .. restaurants tai .. italian .. in the market .. pharmacies .. emergency room 150 meters ... massages ... hello to all

One of the best bookings I have made in phuket for the price. I was skeptical about the staff because of a few older negative reviews but they were very friendly and helpful actually! One of them brought my money back at night which I forgot in the lobby. I recommend the superior room with ac because the area is very hot! Also loved the greenery which is not easy yo find around this street and the small pool was not bad! Only negative are the mosquitos but it was still worth it.

you get what you pay for

You get what you pay for. 25-30 minutes to Bangla. 10 minutes to Otop market and beach. Lots of cheap restaurants nearby, lots of good food. The hotel is next to the main road and roundabout on the way to Karon. A favourite spot for the police, so if you drive be careful.

You Get What You Pay For

I stayed at Baantonsai Garden Resort for one week and you get what you pay for. The rooms are laid out a little like a military barracks, about half a dozen sections, maybe fifty or sixty rooms, side by side in each section. The rooms are quite old, small, sparse, with barely any amenities, eg no kettle, safe, hair dryer etc. There is a small fridge and they supply two bottles of water a day. The soap in the shower is an all purpose shampoo/bodywash and a very watery product, bring your own. The bed itself offered a comfortable nights sleep but you can hear everything from the surrounding rooms. The water from the tap in the bathroom was barely a trickle and the water from the shower flowed from the outside of the head, so you did not feel any real pressure. The WIFI was the worst I have ever encountered in Thailand, and I have stayed in many hotels here, terribly unstable. Had no WIFI for half a day during my stay! So if you depend on WIFI for business forget it. There is a small, shallow pool on site which is great to cool off during the day. Some of the guests head to the resort next door to make use of the bigger pool. The local night market Malin Plaza is a five-minute walk. OTOP, the shopping and nightlife entertainment complex is a ten minute walk. Would I stay again? No, whilst the price is economical the poor WIFI is enough to stop me returning. If WIFI is not a concern then at the price it is a good choice for those on a budget.
