Beach bungalows in nature, a must in Thailand!

Highly recommend this place! It was a beach hideaway, very quiet and tranquil. We stayed in the tree huts and had a beach right out front. It was peaceful and we had a gorgeous view.
Expect a walk into town, about 20 minutes and then another 10 or so further into town. It took us about 30 minutes to get to sea frogs dive ship. It’s not awful but in the heat of the day it’s hot.
The rooms were very spacious, we are a family of three with a teenager and booked two tree huts but we could have just asked for an extra bed and stayed in one. The rooms were large.
I loved all the wood and bamboo features, nice big shower. It is a nature resort so there were bats at night and we were told to ensure the doors were closed due to monkeys.

Excellent time at Viking. Wonderful ambience, location, food and people.
We had a whole floor, two bedrooms, of a three story apartment - amazing. Breeze & hammocks. We will be back!

Perfect resort

This is our second visit to viking and we really love it here. I read reviews moaning about the rooms but we have never had any issues...tbh if you are visiting such a beautiful place you should be out enjoying it not staying in your room all day finding things to complain about!! The staff are constantly busy and they work really really hard...ALL DAY! Be polite and friendly and you will get it back! We have a beautiful cabin, the food is lovely...the vibe is chilled. The only thing I will say is the beach has lots of visitors and they help themselves to the beach cushions so if youre staying here get yourself one! The town is a 10 minute walk if you want a livelier atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for people who appreciate lovely authentic places...if you want a white pristine room with a pool and tennis courts and room service with a TV....go stay somewhere else

A cabin nestled by the sea

An extraordinary experience in an idyllic setting. Perfect for couples, we did it in the middle of the rainy season and we were upgraded. In this cabin by the sea, you feel like Robinson Crusoe who won the comfort challenge on Survivor. Friendly and welcoming staff and a great restaurant in the hotel. Furthermore, it is accessible from town in 15 minutes on foot, which is very convenient for people who want to go out at night in Koh Phi Phi.

A magical place.

The first thing I liked was unexpected. Transfer from the pier by longtail boat. Met with a sign. Two numbers, two pairs. Thought the photos were taken when the new plates were in. But it's been really good to see it all in the picture. The jungle houses, the rooms are huge. The place is so private. They took it without breakfast, wanted to pay for coffee in the morning. They said we could go in and get a free drink. No macaque joke. Family came in tonight, looking for something to eat.
