I stayed here 11 night, I guess that says a lot about the place ;)

I absolutely loved October house! It’s in the city center close to the pier but about 5 minutes from the beach which means that you won’t hear the music from the craziness going on over there every night. October house is a cosy little hostel and I stayed in two different rooms.
First room was only three beds and the second room was four beds. They are actual beds and not bunk beds which I really enjoyed and the shower has WARM water which is more than I can say about other hostels on the island. The bathrooms are small but who cares, and the rooms have AC and fans. I would definitely come back to this hostel!
As a solo traveler I though it was really easy to met new people in my room, but the hostel doesn’t have any common area so if you’re not lucky enough to have cool people in your room that you want to hang out with then I guess you just have to head over to the beach to meet new friends ;) phi phi is a small island and there are friends everywhere!
I definitely recommend this place! It’s cheap and it has AC and it’s clean! Also there are lockers inside the rooms where you can put your valuables. What more do you expect when you pay €10? :D It’s a bargain!

Very good food - Good rooms

They have good food and very fast Service.
If you have a room there they give you 10% discount on the food.
The Dorm is clean and they change the bedsheets.
Had an amazing time there
- Bob is the best.

Nice beds, rooms too hot!

The rooms were a nice size with bathroom for four people. Small bathroom but that wasn’t a very big problem. They had air con and a fan in the room, but the air con leaked and the room was still very warm at night. The staff were very helpful in reception and house keeping too. Rooms were really clean.
The island isn’t huge so you don’t have far to walk to nearby bars and restaurants (5 mins at the very max!) but you are a nice distance away from the noise!

Good Location

The Place is a little smaller than you think but its enough if you're traveling solo, just below the hostel there are many cafe and restaurants, the beach is only 5 - 10 mins walking, the area is a bit dirty but its not that bad.
The rooms which i was in was for 8 ppl - and have 2 bathrooms.
Was Quiet in the night again after 2 am, as before everywhere is party and loud Music.
the place is very safe as i had to walk back alone to the hostel and got lost a bit - end up staying out till 3.30 .. very safe
My experience is What you See is what You Get .. nothing more nothing Less .

Everything's good

It is a good room, clean and affordable. Not far from the pier and the beach. And no noise, you can sleep comfortably. Perfect for coming alone and coming with friends. I was very impressed with this stay.
