Great for a short visit

Friendly staff, easy check in, clean room, bathroom could do with a bit of renovation but it all worked. Good location and plenty of eating houses nearby, No frills. Vending machine and water available at all times. for the money it is fantastic value but dont expect extras. its a budget hotel. Clean and simple.

Rude front desk women owner

This place unfortunately does not meet the minimal politeness standards. They try to scam guests using different rates for exact same rooms. They put a tiny refrigerator in a room and call it superior or delux while standard rooms are exact same just missing a tiny refrigerator. Total scam and owner start yelling and screaming

A budget Hotel that keeps things simple and cheap, Good value for Money

This is a no-thrills, budget hotel that delivers on their promises. It is located close to market, shops, restaurants, Tesco Express & 7Eleven. If you don't feel like walking, they sell water and packaged food onsite. Although close to the road, it's very quiet. Everything is simple & straightforward. It's my second stay at this hotel in a month, and this time I was able to get access to Internet.
They could spend a little bit more time on housekeeping, stained bed sheets are not welcoming.
For me it was no issue, but the mattress is on the hard side. Also there is no proper bedding, instead of a blanket you get a large sort of towel. They have an "outside coffee corner" but coffee is not free.

Very arrogant and combative owner women, horrible check in experience

Jitwilai had two room types advertised at Agoda, I picked the one called studio apartment for $15.65 a night which was advertised as a larger room and name is a studio apartment. After calling Agoda because the owner did not have my booking info and did not trust the email information and screenshot I showed, she finally gave me a key to the room. Surprise ! This is the same size standard double room advertised as $13 a night on Agoda. I was expecting a larger studio and noticed all rooms are same. I went back to ask her if this a mistake because they advertised studio room larger than standard rooms. She said all of their rooms are identical and blamed another person for putting a false info on Agoda. I was just trying to tell I should then pay standard double fee when she just snapped and ask me I can leave and did not give a key to the room, I had to call Agoda to cancel. So practically “studio apartment room is a trap” for those hoping to stay in a larger and more comfy room and willing to pay extra. Jitwilai exploit these guests, charge extra and give the same standard size rooms. Shame on you Jitwilai !!

Very good! Very nice! Very big!

Jitwilai Place is a pleasant hostel in Ayutthaya. We take a spacious, clean and very nice room with a big double bed. The price is 550 Bht. The staff is friendly, you can leave your luggage and charge the batteries in the reception after checking out. There are many food stalls nearby so you can enjoy local cuisine even late at night (but not early in the morning ;p). On the whole, we can recommend this place for backpackers.
