Fantastic place to stay!

We were a party of 8 and we stayed here for a total of 5 nights sporadically due to our timetable. I can't thank the WONDERFUL staff enough for accommodating us and our needs so so well. We always got the same beautiful rooms. On our very first night we arrived very late from the airport and the kitchen was closed. We were starving. They quickly, happily rustled up some food for us. We ate good food in the bar/restaurant. They happily catered breakfast for us for a very early starts on a couple of early mornings. The beds were comfortable and the rooms had everything we needed. My Cousin liaised with the Owner who was very helpful. The cherry on the top was our the three legged "fierce" guard cat who sat outside our rooms. That was his Estate. We miss him! All in all, I now know every time I visit Arusha, here is where ill be staying.
Again, the staff were FANTASTIC! Polite, friendly and always ready to help!

This review follows a separate booking issue we encountered. We had reserved five rooms, and upon arrival, we were asked to pay an additional US$10 per person for breakfast, despite the property listing stating that breakfast was included for all rooms.
The next day, the hotel manager spoke with us directly, explained the miscommunication with Expedia, and offered a solution. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Overall, it’s a reliable and trustworthy property that we would consider again.

We booked this property through Expedia, where it was clearly stated that all rooms include breakfast. However, when we arrived, the staff told us we had to pay an additional US$10 per person for breakfast because our room supposedly didn’t include it.
Our quad room only cost $60 total, so adding $40 more just for breakfast is unreasonable and misleading. This feels like a scam.
They even admitted that they were aware of this issue with Expedia listings but never informed us in advance.
The room we received had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the noise from loud music outside continued until midnight, making it very hard to sleep.

Mixed feelings... beautiful facility, polite staff but stupid a Horrible manager/owner

This was my second stay at the Hotel having done the same in 2021 with back then being a business trip. I came back as I liked it's homly nature as well as the rooms which we still love. We put up there en route for the Serengeti and the first day went well. 4 days later after our Safari we re-booked the place. This was a Friday night and we were tired from the day long trip from the Park. The hotel parking was full with folks enjoying drinks and music. We are fair people hence let the loud music boom while in our rooms and try to catch some sleep. At 1am we could take it no more, I sent a WhatsApp message to number used for boking et al. I requested that they reduce music to a low level in being mindful of those in their beds. I got only "blue ticks" (no response). This was unusual as they are usually very responsive.I also sent an SMS which also ignored. I went over to the bar and the Manage/Owner was entertaining his friends. I spoke to the staff on duty who whispered to him as he looked casually at me; I gestured politely that the music needs to be reduced. He didn't say anything, or even gesture. Long and short - The music's volume was reduced slightly but when songs they loved came up, the volume went back again. That is how we spent a difficult night. I have never felt abused as a guest like at Boulevard. Avoid it !

Not a pleasant experience.

My stay was cut short because apparently my room was booked by a foreigner and that I should move into less pleasant rooms.
Bed Sheets and Towels are never, or are infrequently, changed.
Room services is not available, but I think this depends on whether one is a foreigner not.
