Quaint location and great space. But building and elevator that leads to the hotel need some refurbishment. The staff is often away from the main desk as well. But a great experience overall.

As Dash 23 is situated within a mixed-use residential and commercial building, we understand that the exterior may appear dated — this has indeed been a long-standing challenge for us. However, we have put great effort into the interior design, and we hope our unique sports-themed style has brought you a pleasant surprise.
Please allow us to explain that our front desk staff, in addition to reception duties, also handle room inspections and attend to urgent matters when needed. As such, there may be brief moments when the front desk is temporarily unattended. During these times, we always place a contact sign on the desk so guests can reach out to us if assistance is required.

We ended up not staying at the property, but I feel I need to leave a review. When we arrived, they didn’t have our reservation, although it was showing on Expedia. The hotel was full. Not sure how the mixup happened, but we were happy to leave. The hotel is accessed through a very dilapidated office building, and the lobby reeked of stale cigarettes. The only bright spot was the lovel receptionist who helped us find another hotel.

Rooms were not clean. Cups dirty and sink and toilet dirty. Totally disgusting. Also impossible to find and felt like a short stay motel. Dirty lobby. Left the same night. I knew first night couldn't be refunded, but asked for second night refund and was refused.

An acceptable starting point for Tainan. Didn't get to really see thr place since we are kinda in a hurry but the beds were nice enough for us after a long day (beef soup is worth the wait till 2 am) of travel, this place seems to fit well for our travelling band of three.

Get Energetic from Your Stay Here

The hotel is located within a tall building, which you need to take the common lift to level 5 to reach the hotel floor.
Very energetic kind of them for this hotel’s interior design. They have a long corridor that has a clear view of the city skyline.
My double bed room was very spacious but could see some dirty marks on the wall.
The water heater temperature is controllable and heated very fast.
There’s also common seats around the lobby with books for your leisure reading.
