Really nice guesthouse, fantastic service, almost spotlessly clean but expensive
The hostess was super friendly and helpful and made me feel at ease. The room looked exactly as it did in the photos and was one of the cleanest guest houses I stayed at in the country. The property isn't too old but presents still quite new. The owners clearly look after the place with repairs, touch-ups, and improvements!
There is a small communal area downstairs (with sink, filtered water jug, coffee machine etc) and mid level (coke/fin, filtered water machine beverage, room consumables - SO GOOD as everywhere else I stayed at in taiwan no longer provides these for free which is a terrible shame). Daily towels and other items are replenished showing the great care the hostess takes and likely translated to the overall room and stay. The room also had logged in netflix and youtube as another slightly rare perk. I enjoyed the lavender? bath products and spacious bathroom. I can't say I liked the bathtub material as I feel its difficult to clean properly in-between guests.
Noise insulation was tops I honestly didn't hear any other guests, though the place wasn't 100% full during my stay.
All these things made up for the price (I think their most expensive room was around 8-9,000 TWD for peak season so certainly not cheap) but personally I was happy to pay that and would return again.
