Just Fab !!!

Base camp Hotel is one of the best Hotels one can stay in Zermatt. It’s 12-15 min walk from the train station. With suitcases can be tiring. They have a pick up service which is chargeable but if you stay 3 nights it’s complimentary.
The reception staff Ninj & I can’t rem the other staff name were so courteous and welcoming !
Check in was a breeze and the family room on the 3rd floor was fab.
We booked a family room as we were 4 of us.
1 double bed and 2 bunk beds on top.
Breakfast was top notch & so was the service.
Everything about the place was perfect.
The reception staff suggested we visit the gorge in Zermatt and it was a great experience.
The walk towards the gorge was absolutely breathtaking.
The balcony view of the Matterhorn was just wow.
The owners of this place have been mountaineers which reflects in their interior design of the hotel.
Our 2 day itinerary included walk around the village , gorge and taking the gornergrat.
While leaving they gave us small granula pouches.
Was yummy.
Overall experience was just fab!

Everything is right here!

It was wonderful, all the staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast has something of everything and is fresh, the rooms are an absolute experience and the dog is really welcome. We really enjoyed the days!!

Very good

I went for a weekend of ski touring alone and they made me a room upgrade
Fabulous!
Very friendly staff and management.
Good breakfast.
Excellent cleanliness

My wife and I stayed 3 nights. Free shuttle (with minimum 3 nights) to and from train station was convenient. Room was spacious. We also had amazing view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. Breakfast was wonderful with good selection. Using the sauna after a long day of hiking was very nice. The best part was the pleasant staff members who helped with planning for things to do.

Our new favorite hotel! Incredibly cool atmosphere, and our room had a view of the Matterhorn, which was amazing. Breakfast was provided, and it was fantastic. The room was so comfortable- Could not have had a more perfect stay
