DO NOT BOOK!!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The worst place I have every visited!! When entering the building you are met with a mountain of garbage bags. The building itself also looks and smells like a prison, super dirty and old.
The studio we rented was not cleaned at all. A lot of stuff were broken or completely missing. We could barely touch plates and stuff in the apartment because they were so disgusting.
After the first night we developed bites on our bodies, from some kind of lice or bed bugs.
We, together with Hotels.com and Expedia, have been trying to reach the company afterward for compensation and they are totally ignoring us. Do whatever you can and find another place to live.

Worst accommodation we have ever booked

Unfortunately, our stay was a huge disappointment. We would have preferred to check out immediately after checking in. Unfortunately, there was no affordable accommodation available in Lucerne on short notice for our family of five, so we had to stay.
For CHF 700.– for two nights, we would have expected clean, well-maintained accommodation that matched the photos. Instead, we found an apartment that had almost nothing in common with the pictures on the internet. We unfortunately felt deceived by the listing photos.
After just a few minutes, our children had black feet from the dirty floor. The photos we took show only a portion of the defects.
During our stay, we had to note, among other things, the following defects:
Floors heavily soiled – our children had black feet after a few minutes.
The entire apartment was very dusty.
Baseboards and radiators were full of dust and dirt.
Mold in the shower as well as soiled grout and seals.
Swollen and damaged floor panels.
Damaged baseboards and walls.
Stains and a burn hole in the sofa.
Curtains were partially only half hung.
Television with a damaged display.
Defective remote control – watching television was practically impossible.
Very poor Wi-Fi.
Refrigerator not clean.
Dishwasher heavily calcified.
Greasy and unkempt kitchen.
A kitchen cabinet was ripped out or damaged.
Defective electrical outlet.
Damaged lamp cover.
There were numerous dead insects in the kitchen light.
Sink without a functioning stopper.
Balcony full of leaves and dirt and obviously not cleaned for a long time.
The kitchen equipment was also very poor. There was neither a cleaning cloth nor cleaning supplies to be able to clean the dirty kitchen ourselves. Even a dish towel for drying was missing. Overall, the kitchen was only very sparsely equipped.
For fresh towels, you had to contact the staff every single time. For a stay in this price range, we would have expected an uncomplicated towel service.
The general areas of the building also did not make a good impression. The elevator was very dirty and trash was stored by the mailbox area, which caused the entrance area to smell unpleasantly of garbage.
Additionally, the apartment smelled strongly of chlorine. The walls had been treated with an intense fragrance, presumably to cover up odors. The apartment is also extremely thin-walled – you can hear practically every conversation, every door, and every step from the neighboring apartments. Rest was hardly possible.
The furnishings also looked old, thrown together, and unkempt, and in no way matched the impression that the photos on the internet conveyed.
CHF 700.– for two nights is absolutely not justified for this accommodation. This apartment urgently needs a thorough cleaning, numerous repairs, and a comprehensive renovation.
We have never been so disappointed by an accommodation. In our opinion, the photos on the internet do not correspond to the actual condition of the apartment. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Galaxy Apartments at all and would definitely never stay there again.

I booked this as I wanted a place with enough space for my family with laundry. There is NO laundry. This is false advertising. The place was a 5 min walk from the main area. There is construction right behind the building which I was not notified of. Jackhammers start at exactly 7am and last all day. There is no AC which we knew about but the 3 fans that were in the apartment barely move air. The sliding patio door in one of the bedrooms is broken so can’t open and it is like a sauna in there. The blinds let in as much light as possible. There is one electric plug per room. The leg of the kitchen table was broken so we couldn’t safely use the table. The shower curtain in the high bathtub didn’t work well. The shower head needs to be pointed directly down or else water floods the bathroom floor as you can tell by the rotten bottom of the bathroom door. There is no circulation in bathroom so the ceiling paint is peeling off. The patio is asphalt surface so you can’t sit outside without shoes on. I know Lucerne is expensive but book elsewhere!

Run away

It is an old and dirty building, with spiderwebs on the room's balcony. They don't even have a toaster, a microwave, or even a lousy rag to dry your hands or the dishes in the kitchen. The pillows are disgusting.
The only good thing is the location, which is within walking distance of the center, but paying 487 euros for two nights in this studio is a total rip-off. Run away.

The wifi was very patchy , pretty much wasn't working . the life/elevator was too small . the flat was a bit run down
