Much more than just a hotel

Restaurant with ambience, excellent service and delicious food. I can highly recommend seasonal dishes as well as classics such as veal liver with rösti or delicious desserts such as orange ice cream soufflé with Grand Marnier. I'd be happy to come back.

The perfect meeting place for excursions in the Emmental

Nice hotel located in the city center next to the train station. Thus an ideal location. Most have arrived by train and were at the hotel after 5 minutes walk. There we had nice rooms that are newly renovated.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The dinner in the conservatory was very fine and the service was perfect. Also the breakfast in the quaint restaurant was delicious and it had everything.

Enchanting

Central location, excellent welcome, beautiful room, very spacious, very large bathroom, very quiet and peaceful. Excellent breakfast. We stayed for two days. Interesting price. We highly recommend it. Thanks, we will be back! Parking available.

Convenient and comfortable.

I stayed at the hotel Emmental for 4 nights whilst on a business trip. Arriving by train it’s a 2 minute walk from the station. Check in was simple (keys and a note left on the reception desk), and I was pleased with my room, nice and spacious, clean, nice bathroom, nothing to complain about.
I did suspect that the beds would be uncomfortable but they weren’t and I slept well. My room was right above reception and almost over the bar area but I wasn’t disturbed at all, very quiet.
Nice typical breakfast every day and a decent little bar to grab a beer in the evening. Would certainly stay again, thank you.

Pleasant hotel

As we were by train, this hotel was perfectly located near the Langnau train station. Our room was quite spacious, with extra room for a sofa bed. Room and bathroom were very clean. Bathroom was okay, except that our shower was pretty miserable with a showerhead that could not be fixed properly. That was pretty annoying. It is the only negative comment I can make. Wifi was average; sometimes good and sometimes it did not work at all. Staff was very friendly, especially at breakfast. We stayed here for more than a week, so, quite some time to make good judgments. Breakfast was the usual Swiss/European continental breakfast, with many breads and cereals, yoghurt and hardboiled eggs. No hot items. We had expected to be able to have dinner at the site, but the restaurant was not open. Luckily, there were some nice restaurants in the area to choose from.
