Amazing place to lay your head

If I could give it more than five stars I would. Stayed the night on a Saturday after an afternoon of hiking. Wonderful room (with private bath) which was spotless and super comfy. A view of Mt Titlis out my window was a nice touch. Had a wonderful dinner worthy of a five star restaurant- service was outstanding and they went out of their way to accommodate my food allergies. There is something special about being in the Swiss alps with a pre-winter chill in the air and the profound quiet of being away from the noise of towns and such. I would highly recommend this special place and would return in a heartbeat.

For the family, it's just spectacular, good reception, good support, all very friendly staff. I recommend going to visit....I sent some photos of the Family so you can see more or less what it's like to be at 1600 meters high....

Excellent family friendly lodge

A very comfortable and cosy place at a picturesque location! Besides being super children friendly, the huge playground (with a toboggan ride) nearby makes this a great place with kids. The staff at the lodge are friendly and offer a very hospitable service.

Great stay, although called a hostel, it is a fab Half Board Apartment with a shared bathroom

Feb 20 for 2 nights (2 ad / 2 ch 13 + 11).
Location - Amazing views, halfway up mountain. Gondola closes at 5pm.
Arrival: Check in at Gondola at bottom. Issued free ski-passes - Brunni region for 3 days. Gondola big enough for bags. Room (No 3) had a single bed and two bunk beds, immaculately clean, warm and comfortable. Shared bathroom, clean with free towels. Ski storage room.
Garage to store luggage on last day after check out.
Food: Outstanding! Beautiful views, small childrens play area, large park and trampoline outside. Salad / soup / main course / dessert. Breakfast was continental and fresh croissants - divine!. Drinks not included with evening meal.
Staff: Staff were courteous, polite and helpful but special mention for evening manager who was Italian (sorry did not catch his name) but he always went above and beyond to make sure your stay was enjoyable.
Skiing : Unfortunately it has been a poor season and conditions were poor. The chair to go up to the toboggan/sledge run is a must (sledges can be hired from outside the hotel for 8 CHF each) I think the sledge run is about 4 km and quite steep so have a practice first. From the chair there are 3 runs. You can upgrade ski passes to include the Titlis area (massive) and catch a free bus which takes about 5-10 minutes.
Overall - amazing stay, a real hidden gem. Switzerland is expensive and there is a couple of supermarkets in the town where you can jump on the free bus or a 10 minute walk. 10/10 - Well done Berlodge!

a room like being in your own chalet

We reserved online - arrived and expected a room to sleep, nothing more, nothing less... we got a very warm were welcome from Julia, we were accompanied to our rooms and were blown away! wow, such nice room and those rooms which had no restroom and shower inside had access to the floor level shower and restroom, which are very modern and clean.
Off we went for dinner - the wine menu isn't something you would expect at such location, and the wine cellar is a dream... food was delicious as well - so overall a great experience, which will be repeated by our group for sure... keep on going this road guys, thumbs up!
