The Bela Riva - a cosy family managed hotel
In the Hotel Bela Riva I spent two nights and I felt very comfortable and welcome.
Sister and brother Cavegn manage the place and keep it cosy and clean. I felt at home. The tastefully renovated bath room with the colours grey, white and dark red – contributed to that, because these are the same colours that I had selected for my own bathroom.
My hotel room was exactly above the restaurant. Nevertheless I slept quietly and well, because the insulation is perfect. The pretty breakfast buffet has been prepared with care. With my friends I also had dinner in the beautiful Stübli and it was tasty. They serve well prepared Swiss meals - I had a salad and liver (Läberli) with fried potatoes. As their specialty they in addition offer meat on hot stone.
I skied in Savognin and discovered not only the friendly hotel Bela Riva, but in addition a very nice and quiet skiing area for families – never had I seen so many kids enjoying it on the bumpy fun runs between the fir trees. Luckily for the many kids, there are few racing carvers – it is great to chill down the tracks here. The chairlift leading to the skiing area is just some five minutes from the hotel.
When I go back to Savognin to ski with my friends, I will surely book again in the hotel Bela Riva.

Always pleasant stay at Bela Riva
We stayed for a few days this summer at Bela Riva, which is always our best pick in Savognin, summer or winter. We usually stay in the 4 poster bedroom on the top floor, although I have been in other rooms too. The big bedroom is really big and very cute, with the twin beds hidden behind the master bed (kids LOVE it). No noise, good sleep. In the very center of town, you walk smoothly to the slopes.
Over the years (many) we have always returned here, because the quality has been consistent over time, the hotel is clean, breakfast is really nice and the price has remained reasonable.
It is a small family run hotel, with all the charm of it, and probably guests should adapt to the small imperfections....

very poor quality and comparatively high fee
We slept in this hotel for one nigt while travelling in the Graubuenden region. All the rooms have a moquette which does not look clean and decoration is chosen with bad taste. There was a heavy smell of onion in the entrance and in the dining room. Lights in our room were so poor that we could not even read a newspapaper or a brochure while we were in. The bathroom facilities were sufficient for a 1 star hotel and not for a 3 star hotel. Dinner was too salty and difficult to digest.
Fee for a double room with breakfast Fr. 130 = € 85,00 - Dinner Fr. 82,50 = about € 55,00.
Would not advise this hotel to anybody.

Fleisch top und flexible Küche!
Am Freitagabend waren wir zu viert im Bela Riva. Absolutes Top Fleisch und für meine Freundin die Zöliakie hat, hat der Küchenchef einen glutenfreien Caprese Salat und ein Safran-Risotto mit Gemüse gezaubert.
Absolute Empfehlung! Wer auf exzellentes Fleisch steht kommt an diesem Restaurant nicht vorbei.

Hotel mit Charisma und Style
Sehr schönes Hotel an super Lage.
Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
Schöne Zimmer.Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war super.
Die Gastgeber nett und zuvorkommend.
Wie auch die gesamte Crew.
Tolle Küche ,haben hier sehr gut gegessen.
