The hotel was fun and staff excellent. The breakfast and general location make this a great choice. The hotel itself is quite dark so sometimes felt a little dim and noticed some stains on the floor & tiles in the shower that went unnoticed and probably are clean but looked a bit dirty.

Quirky, unique hotel that's different from the rest. Clean rooms, fantastic staff and excellent breakfast. Easy to walk around central Umeå from hotel.

Great hotel!

We stayed in a junior suite - very good relative to price! Beautiful and smart furnishings! Comfortable beds! Great breakfast. Small but fresh gym. Electric charging was included in the park cost. Nice and knowledgeable staff.

Deluxe Room during Football Festival

Not clean. We found various things under our bed, big sign that it is never cleaned under it. On the toilet floor under the sink there were tablets that someone dropped before… so it had not been cleaned either.
The bar was closed during the summer when it was moved to Gotthard's restaurant down by the water. So you had to go there if you wanted something to drink.
At breakfast in the morning it was messy. The elevators shared with another hotel, were right next to where you sit and eat. There, people would run off every 15 minutes with suitcases or just pass by.
Nice to stay centrally! But we won't choose the hotel again. Not affordable at all.
Plus for nice reception when we checked in!

We didn't have the best stay, me and my husband had the suit with the sauna, and stayed 3 nights. When we arrived the room with the sauna was not cleaned after the previous guest, missing towels, used Q-tip on the counter, only one clean robe and there was two used teacups. And an alarm from the wine fridge that was going off. 2 cokes missing from the fridge.
We notified the staff, they said they would look into it and adress it. Cleaning team only emptied the bins ... then we talked with them again. Ended up cleaning the bathroom myself . The morning after we talked with them again same story as the previous day, but they refilled the coke in the minibar. Seemed to be alot of confusion with the room in general.
Have stayed at this hotel before and had no complains, same as last time the breakfast is good, the place is really beautiful, and the staff is polite. And have friends who stayed in the same suit as us before, and they had no issues. Think this was a fluke, but a very disappointing one, sad to have paid 10 000kr for this, not worth it if you have to clean the room yourself.
