Quality hotel with good location

We had deluxe room with windows facing two directions ( corner room with river view). The room was clean and the bed was really good. Air condition could have been better on a hot weather. Breakfast was good as well but the rooftop restaurant Nor is a real gem. The views to city and river were awesome. It's really worth for go for a drink or dinner.

Nice hotel but some things were hit and miss

We booked a family room with a bed and a bed sofa. The bed sofa was exceptionally uncomfortable. As well we found some used earplugs in the floor of our bedroom... Nasty... The service personnel were very kind but the restaurants felt understaffed.

I think i lost some cards (ID, licence, credit card) in the room 536. I send different emails, tried to call by phone several time but no answer.
could you check if the hotel found my documents in room 536 on sunday july 2th?

Full marks

Had an errand to Umeå that fit in with taking an overnight stay at one of the city's hotels. The location at Clarion Hotel Umeå decided the choice. Not a shred of regret!!! Very friendly staff. Wonderful view from both spa, restaurant and hotel room. You get what you pay for. The spa area felt fresh and the time perfectly sufficient. Dinner was superb, both meal and service. The room in nice style was fresh and completely without disturbing noise from the surroundings. Breakfast absolutely better than many others.

Nice hotel, the room we stayed in had very good soundproofing so despite ongoing festival outside we could sleep well. Unfortunately we forgot our portable speaker in the room as it got a bit stressful on departure, but according to the hotel they can not find it. When we know that it was left, we can only assume that someone either took it or that the cleaning can not be very good if you do not find a whole speaker. We found a golf ball in the room that was obviously missed during previous cleaning.

Jag beklagar djupt den stressiga avresan och den oro det skapade kring din bärbara högtalare. Jag förstår att det måste ha varit frustrerande att få beskedet att vi inte hittade den initialt, och jag ber om ursäkt för det. Vi är dock väldigt glada att vi senare lyckades lokalisera den och att du nu har blivit kontaktad via mail angående upphämtning.
Angående golfbollen du hittade på rummet, vill jag också be om ursäkt för den missen. Det är självklart inte den standard vi strävar efter i vår städning, och vi kommer att ta detta vidare med vårt städteam för att säkerställa att sådana detaljer inte missas i framtiden.
Vi hoppas att du trots den initiala oron kring högtalaren och städningen hade en trevlig vistelse i övrigt, och vi ser fram emot att få lämna över din högtalare till dig.
