Please Stay Here - You Won’t Be Sorry!

As I sip my last cup of tea while enjoying my view, I know whole heartedly that I will miss this place. Even before we arrived, when we had a canceled flight, the staff was so accommodating. Upon arrival, we were met with a smile from Josephine, who helped us get a lay of the land. She was incredibly welcoming! When we arrived at our room (316) we were truly in disbelief! I felt like I was in a fairytale. Our Fika table in the turret had views of St. Nicholas church, the river way and bridges surrounding us - and even Orebro Castle. Unbelievable! Our room was clean, comfortable and charming. The meals were very good, we took advantage of breakfast, fika and dinner. You can not pick a better location. Situated only 5 minutes from the train station, and less than that to the castle. The staff at Home Hotel Borgen has truly thought of everything! (There was a big storm the first day we arrived, that is why the river looks brown!)

Lovely hotel, great location and the benefit of free breakfast, dinner and afternoon cake made it really special. Recommended.

Very cute hotel, good location and amazing staff. The room had everything but could have been cleaner (nothing about regular cleaning but more about old dirt). The Fika was very appreciated. We found the dinner a bit simple. The breakfast was okay.

Very nice older hotel right in the center of town. The room was well appointed and clean. The breakfast and dinner were good for Buffett style.

This is how you get regulars!

The concept of room plus dinner is appealing unless you intend to be busy during dinner.
The location in the city is perfect,close to everything. Rooms good and well equipped. Breakfast includes everything even porridge and sour milk.
When I, for medical reasons, need adapted food, the treatment in the dining room is important. On several of our visits to Borgen today's dish has not been suitable for me. There have always been solutions with good alternatives. On this visit it was particularly good. The staff not only fixed the problems but did so in a way that showed that my well-being was important to them as well.
