Excellent first stay at a SCANDIC Hotel !
The room was comfortable, cosy and cute.
We particularly enjoyed the breaky deal. The sandwiches were really good.
The free-to-use washing machine was a real plus and made a difference in our choice of hotel. We especially appreciated having this service available at no extra cost.
Finally, the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and always happy to assist.

Negative criticism
Badly cleaned in the room when we arrived. Breakfast under all criticism, no breakfast buffet. Their offer was below all criticism. No hotel we will recommend.

Good with improvement potential
After the stay, free lockers are offered until 10 pm which was appreciated!
Good to know that the area between the station/hotel/north town (Central City) is a big construction site at the moment so it is inflexible to get around. But the situation will be great as soon as this is done.
Experienced some “friction” at the hotel that pulls down the grade a bit:
“You had to contact staff to present your ID card before you could collect the key from any of the self-service stations. However, this message was only received after trying to get the key out yourself.
Casting for the TV didn't work. Seemed like it was casting to a TV that wasn't in my room. Had certainly been solved by the staff if I had needed the service.
- You had to ring the bell after 10 pm and wait for someone to answer to let in. Feels like access cards would have been enough. Especially since the reception staff will handle food / drink orders and everything in between and at the same time let in all guests who came regularly after 10 pm.
My food order never went through. Placed an order at 10pm for pickup at 11.30pm. Despite the order number and info that it is being prepared, there was no food when I came down and the staff at the reception had not seen any order. However, it was solved in 10 minutes. And the food itself was great!
