Recommended

A very cozy little bed and breakfast that we stayed in during our bike trip in the district of Sjuhärad. Bunk beds that worked well. Bar breakfast. Working TV. Nice host couple who were very helpful. A little cold in the house but there were slippers. We got the little cottage called Dairy.

Visiting Family

We have just returned from visiting my family in Hillared and we stayed at Ekeliden B&B.
We were welcomed by owners Rosemari and Mats, the room was small but clean and comfortable. The communal area was well laid out with all of the usual home comforts. Breakfast was very appetising meats and cheeses and cereals and breads.
It is a rural area that gave a peaceful nights sleep and lots of exploring during the short day. A car is essential.
I will be using them again.

Extraordinary b&b

I rented the cabin (lillstugan) which is really nice. I can honestly say that it is one of the nicest b&b:s I have ever stayed at. I was alone but the cabin sleeps four. Great space with a fully equipped kitchen. Free good working wi-fi and cable TV with a lot of film channels.The only minus for me was that there were bunk beds, but the lower ones were wider than the top ones.
The location is actually in the middle of nowhere, but there are a few things around the place. There is a nice beach in Wegby and there is a very good and cheap clothes store in Gällstad a few km away (Lager 157). There is also a pizzeria in Gällstad. It is about 15-20 minutes south of Ulricehamn.
The host and hostess are very friendly. They serve a good breakfast in the morning in the main b&b.

Super cosy lodging with friendly hosts

Beautiful little cottage with very comfortable beds, fully equipped beautifully located in fantastic surroundings!
A combined business / leisure trip required a comfortable, personalized staying and Ekeliden is that perfect place.

Home from home

Outstanding B&B in quiet countryside. Very friendly welcome and accommodation perfect for my needs. Fully fitted kitchen at my disposal along with vast library to occupy one if the weather is bad. Comprehensive breakfast is provided and all in this is a real gem.
