If the price is right for your wallet, then just book...

Most hotels under the Strawberry umbrella always maintain an approved standard, Borås is no exception.Centrally located at Viskan. Continuously updated and the hotel is more than acceptable for the price.Nothing extravagant, but a large spacious lobby, fresh rooms that offer good sleep quality with comfortable beds and linen.The restaurant was a bit deserted in large premises, so dinner had to be at the neighboring restaurant Baltazar.But for breakfast it was well attended, there was everything you could wish for, always interesting if you can find a local twist on the offerings.The staff is consistently alert and pleasant both at reception and in the restaurant.

Bad experience.

Too much noise outside. Starts and sweeps at 0400. Starts with the edge cutter at 0400 at night. The beds are not good to lie in. Cars drive back and forth if you have space on the same side as the entrance. Straight across there is a parking garage that opens at 0600. Cars come in and out here.
So for me no thanks,

Best staff at reception / check-in
Wonder if they say Anita on name tag
Blonde .. handled splendidly when she was by herself and great booking on the phone. Simultaneously a queue at check-in. Then they shine and she handled them brilliantly. Just things you appreciate and make you come back here every time you travel.
Then breakfast is good is just a plus.

Nice hotel, slightly older standard

Nice hotel with very nice staff. Slightly older standard, which is mainly noticeable in the corridor and rooms. It seems that some floors have been under renovation, but not the floor we stayed on. The room was clean and spacious, although it was slightly older. The bed was comfortable to sleep in.
Good breakfast with okay variety.
Very good location with proximity to shops, several good restaurants and walking paths along the river.

Centrally located hotel

Considering that breakfast was not included, the price was not as good as I first thought. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great with all the games available in the lobby - our kids liked it very much.
Minus to bad cleaning (you had to say about cleaning and even then there were dust balls left under the bed) and very hard and thin mattresses in the bunk bed (in the family room). Not recommended if you have older children (14 years).
