A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel «Sund Nergårdens Gästhem» is located in Trosa. This hotel is located in 10 km from the city center. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel. Places nearby: Drottningholm Palace, Stockholm City Hall and Riddarholmen Church..It’s time to have a nice meal! Stop by the restaurant. If you travel by car, there’s a free parking zone. Pets are welcome here. At the guests’ disposal, there’s also a laundry..The staff of the hotel will be happy to talk to you in English.

True gem close to the coastal city of Trosa
Johan and Niklas have built a haven of peace where the rooms offer all you can wish for regarding tranquillity and convenience. The offers include room, food and more which means a welcome plate with cheese and charcuterie followed by a three or five course dinner and finally breakfast after a good night’s sleep. Furthermore, you can use one of the two saunas and take a swim in the lake or in the pool (depending on time of year). Or perhaps, if you dare during the winter, you and take a dip in the lake from a hole in the ice or in a barrel of ice-cold water. The garden offers lots of places to sit and look at the view and just relax.
The hotel offers eleven rooms including four junior suites. In the summer you can enjoy glamping in three tents. The rooms are well furnished with comfortable beds and offer toiletries from Björk & Berries and the minibar is complimentary. If you go for some of the rooms on the second floor of the main building you will have your own terrace where you can sit and enjoy the sunshine and the views over the garden and the lake all day and evening long. The décor is modern and very much a boutique-hotel.
In addition to have a restful stay Sund Nergården also offers high-quality food, and the wine list is long and exciting. You start with a glass of champagne and an amuse and then the offer includes a three-course dinner, but you can extend it to five courses and also add some cheese if you feel for it. Accompanying the dinner two sorts of wine packages are offered, one classic and one called the Wine journey with older vintages and prestige wines. Both wines and dishes are elegantly presented and the pairing is perfect. There are much posher restaurants in Stockholm and other larger cities who does not come anywhere near the quality of Sund Nergården. It is innovative but not pretentious and the ambience in the dining room is welcoming and personal. The food and wine is perfectly presented and you will really be taken care of.
After a good night’s sleep, you are offered a delicious breakfast buffet with all you can ask for including freshly baked bread and a menu of warm dishes prepared according to your order.
I warmly recommend a stay at Sund Nergården. You will feel refreshed and well when you leave and probably longing for your next stay. At a first glance it might seem a bit pricy but considering the high quality of everything I would say it is a well worth it. It really is a luxury boutique hotel on the countryside which offers something special and unique.

A day I won't forget. Here is everything I am looking for!
A place to rest. A place to hang out. A place to enjoy magical food and drink. A place I won't forget and a place I'm guaranteed to come back to. The staff is superb and personal. A real bonus that the hotel is child-free but above all that you can bring your dog. The staff not only spoiled us but also our dog. For dinner, not only was it set for us humans, but our dog had a bed and a bowl of water prepared at the table when we arrived.
The hotel is small which creates a calm, it is never crowded, there is never a queue. We tried the sauna during the evening (there are three two electric heated and one wood fired which is down by the lake). Really nice.
A really good selection of good wines where the staff are responsive to our wishes and quickly produce fun and good wines. The dinner was superb although the main course could possibly be lifted slightly, there was a lack of acidity and something crispy. Breakfast was perfect and the bread incredibly good. You can choose from a few hot dishes that are then prepared a á minute. If there was one thing I missed, it would be pancakes.
As LGBT couples, we felt warmly welcomed and safe. May clearly be considered an LGBTQI friendly accommodation.
