Great value

Clean and cosy, this place had everything we needed, comfy bed, fairly quiet, a hot shower and a beautiful view overlooking a tea estate from a clean and spacious balcony. The owner offered us pots of tea during our stay. He always had a gentle smile on his face and was quietly mannered. I would definitely come back to this affordable guest inn.

Great place but...

We stayed there for 2 night. The owner is friendly guy always ready to help you but the rooms are messy and in our in bathroom there was used soap, facial hair after shaving, used shaver and toothbrush cover. On the otherside you have beautiful view on the tea plantation. It is located like 15 mins by a walk to inner city. Train station is close by.

Affordable and convenient stay

We stayed for a night. For the cheap price we paid, it was pretty convenient.didnt get breakfast though booking said it was inclusive. Location is good. 10mins walk to ella town. 4km from tea factory. Got tea on arrival. Owner was very friendly. Gave us extra towels, toilet paper and late check out.

Lovely place with nice host and great views

The hosts are really lovely and go out of their way to help you out, the welcome tea or coffee is a nice touch after a long trip up to Ella. The breakfast is great too and sets you up well for the day, for us staying usually in hostels usually it was a good brekkie, some might consider it basic. Just be sure to remind them to lay off the salt and pepper a bit on the egg! The views up here are amazing and you are right in the tea plantations, if you cross over you have some really nice short walks through them with nice views that you might have missed out on if you were in town. The walk into Ella is not too far and the train station is literally round the corner.
The pillows were a little lumpy and not too comfortable. The shower also could have been a little bit warmer and more powerful as it does get a bit chilly at night up there!

A great Host

Nice place.easy access to train station. Located near to a tea state. You will get a good value for your money here. Gust also a very nice person,it is the most impressed thing about this place. I thong there are only two or three rooms and he is planning to improve the place.
