Perfect Paradise

Stopped here for 2 nights in Jan 2025 on route to Yala Safari. Perfect peace, beautiful, calm, tranquil, surrounded by nature, ( the odd monkey jumping on your roof ). Private pathway to your spotlessly clean Cabana, super friendly personal, especially Mr. Schanda, who found me trudging through the wild, he was/is a library of information pointing out & naming various vegetation, huge ant hills etc etc. Thank you Sir for your kindness ❤️

Most Unfriendliest Treat

Most un friendliest hospitality.
Refresh Cabana Gardens is a hotel which provides cottage facilities with a common pool. Environment is very relaxing. Each Cabana is separated with a small garden allowing a private space.
Rooms are clean with a touch of rustic furniture.
Our main concern was the hospitality of the staff. We were requesting prices to book 3 cabanas.
We were not allowed to select cabanas simply because we were locals. The old person does not know how to coordinate with people. He was so rude at one point he said they don't like locals but prefer foreigners. And he carried on to say "If you are fine with the price take it otherwise please go"
We were so pleased with the location and the space they offer but the old man's hospitality ruined our day.
We were so worried why they treat people like this as they didn't have any bookings on that day, yet they didn't want to take our booking too.
Hope the management take this note serious and take necessary actions.

Great overnight stay and meal

Very belated review. We stayed just one night in March 2016 while on a trip organised by Nipun from See Lanka Travels. His Dad Raj was our guide.
We stayed in one of the brand new (in 2016) rooms. Very impressed. Evening meal was great with a good choice.

Fantastic Cabana stay

When viewing at places to stay, I was doubtful about "CABANAS". My driver chose this place for me & what a revelation after my choice was at a different location was the worst experience. The owner & staff were a revelation. Place is immaculately clean, outside tidies EVERY DAY, sometimes twice if wind has dropped leaves !! Very helpful owner. Lovely breakfast with a good selection of fruits that I had requested.

Nice place

Visited as a guest in the Echo restaurant for lunch just today and enjoyed your garden table. We chose to stay indoors . I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had a delightful manager MR shan. He had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. He recognized that we wanted time to visit and did not rush us.other staff members made certain that we had everything we needed..Thank you
