Lovely Property

Beautiful, quiet property. Rooms were on the smaller side but comfortable and housekeeping was excellent. A few signs of wear and tear, but otherwise the room was modern and well-kept. Beautiful pool, just wish there had been pool service and more loungers.
Bar service was attentive and the menu had many options. Breakfast and dinner buffets were large, but food was of lesser quality than other hotels I stayed in in Sri Lanka and service slow and not as attentive.

Great place to unwind

Family of 5 from the UK with three teenage daughters. This hotel was the last stop of our 16 day, 5 location, trip to Sri Lanka. The hotel was a fantastic place to unwind at the end of a busy holiday. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious, and the breakfast and dinners buffets great. The grounds are big with lovely walks by the lake. Our 19 year old daughter was able to run daily within the grounds whilst training for a half marathon! The pools are great and staff all very helpful.
The hotel location is great, with both the Dambulla Caves and Sigiryia within 25 minutes drive.
My wife and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary whilst at the hotel and the staff couldn't have made it more special when they found out.

Great food and excellent service

Had a great experience at Amaya lake. The food was fresh, and tasty.The chef Madura clearly knows what he’s doing, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend trying this place!

Ranjith is the Best !

We had an overnight stay in Amaya Lake Dambulla in half board basis where we were able to enjoy the food and the property as well.
We met this amazing personality Mr. Ranjith who had a pretty face with an amazing smile.
Mr. Ranjith’s genuine care and his quality service made us a thought to visit Amaya Lake again and we will visit there again for sure.
Thanks to Amaya Lake and the entire team !

Comfortable Stay

Hotel is very clam. Rooms are neat and clean and specially when It comes to Food super delicious. Staff is very helpful and pleasant
