Short trip to Lesce Bled

Great hostel,exceptionally clean and welcoming staff made our stay very pleasant.The room was as-per the description and the showers and WCs spotless and well-maintained.The free shuttle to Bled is a great amenity and would 100% recommend visiting both Lake Bled’s viewpoints and the gorge.Overall,a terrific stay and would recommend :)

Lovely staff but impossible to sleep due to extreme heat, loud bells on the property, and uncomfortable beds

Our stay at 1A had some positives and some negatives. Firstly, the staff are excellent, they are incredibly friendly and helpful! The rooms are clean and functional as are the bathrooms and there are several common areas. We had chosen to stay in Lesce rather than Bled so we could be closer to the train station for our departure in the morning. However, this was completely negated by our lack of sleep. The rooms are unbearably hot with uncomfortable beds, despite having the windows open there is absolutely no air in the room and the temperature in the rooms are noticeably higher than in the corridors. When we left in the morning, despite it being 27 degrees outside it was significantly cooler outside than in the bedroom. Additionally, at 7am the church bell on the grounds of the hostel rings for 10 minutes and repeats every hour from then on. This wakes everyone up from already disturbed sleep. Without a fan or A/C these rooms are not suitable for a stay during the summer months. Next time I’ll book a hostel or hotel in Bled as you lose all benefit of being close to the station when you cannot sleep.

great stay, a perfect start for your adventure holiday!

The hostel is clean, with nice rooms, comfortable beds, lockers, great showers, a cheap simple breakfast, supermarket on 10 minute walking distance, restaurants around the corner surrounded by mountains with the most amazing nice staffmembers!
This hostel is a perfect place to kickstart your adventure holiday with tours to Triglaw N.P: Also perfect for bike rides, kajak/rafting/horsriding/parasailing adventures. They have a free shuttle running to Bled twice a day!
The hostel is a five minute walk from the bus and train station in Lesce Bled (9 minutes busride from Bled and a 1 hour trainride from Ljubjana).
Try the Italian restaurant around the Corner with delicious pasta dishes and mountain views! The Viator tour with Nica to Triglaw was outstanding and the rafting with Aktivni Planet was beautiful and a lot of fun. Tony and his team are super professional and make your adventure unforgettable. Lots of love, Sarah from The Netherlands

Everything was great, accomodation is really budget friendly. Stuff was awesome and friendly. Room, bathroom and toilet was clean 10/10.
There was just one small problem - nearby church ringing a bell every 15 minutes from 7am to 10pm I guess

Good Stay Near Bled/Triglav National Park

This hostel is just a bit outside of Bled, which is great because the parking is free, unlike near the lake. The staff are great - very helpful and knowledgeable about things to do in the area and Triglav National Park. The hostel is clean, fully equipped kitchen, nice hangout area, lots of showers and toilets. Bedrooms are basic, a bit hot in the summer, and noisy thanks to lack of soundproofing and excessive church bell ringing next door. Breakfast is good, with cereal, fruits, yogurt, eggs, toast and coffee/tea for just €2.
