Travellers' Haven Hostel

Set beneath Bled Castle, the Travelers Haven Hostel provides free WiFi. It has a shared living room with LCD cable TV and computer. Lake Bled and the bus station are a 3-minute walk away. Guests can use the hostel's shared kitchen, while a grocery shop is right across the street. There are 2 shared bathrooms with showers provided. In cooperation with local tourist and sport agencies, Hostel Travelers Haven can organize day trips to Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle, Triglav National Park, Lake Bohinj and the Pokljuka plateau. Activities like hiking, horseback riding and paragliding can also be arranged. Bike rental and laundry services can be arranged at a surcharge. There is no computer, but there is still free Wi-Fi The hostel now has two new kitchens. There are new showers available for the dorms. Some rooms also have their own private showers.

Nice and comfortable stay near the lake

I enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this hostel. The owner was helpful and funny and the hostel was well cleaned. The atmosphere is homely and neat and the location is nice; quite near the bus stop, supermarket, and lake itself. We stayed in a 2-person room and it was comfortable and neat. I’d say good value.

Lovely hostel

Such a lovely hostel and a really
warm and homely feel to it. Barbra is the best and is always willing to help. Everything is kept tidy and clean. Don’t have any complaints. 10/10 defo recommend

Lovely Hostel

Colleen was so friendly. The hostel was clean and safe. Comfortable night stay. Central location and the hostel had kitchen facilities. Colleen was very helpful with recommendations and went above and beyond to look after us. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back.

Best Hostel in Bled!

Colleen the owner of the hostel is an amazing woman who will always go above and beyond for her clients. She gave my girlfriend and I a detailed rundown of all the dos and don’t while staying in Bled. She has also given us rides into nearby towns when we asked if she would be able to. She is an incredible woman and does a fantastic job of running the hostel.
As for the hostel, it is in excellent condition. There is room, it is clean, there are kitchen facilities to use, and the people who stay at the hostel are great fun too.
If anyone were to tell me they were going to Bled and needed a place to stay, I would say to them to look no further. This is the best hostel in Bled!

Fantastic hostel great staff

Great location 5 mins from the bus station and ten from the lake.
The lady running the show was brilliant she came to meet me when I came and checked in early, she guided us round the accommodation and facilities and gave us her own recommendations on attractions that we should see.
The building was clean and community room was cosy and well looked after. I like the ideas of the labels around the place however I feel there may be too many signs around.
After a long day walking the showers were needed and they were kept to a high cleanliness however I found that the shower doors didn't close properly which could potentially be problem for people who are shy.
We stayed in the basement and it was yet again a clean tidy room. The lady explained the condensation issue in the room and stairway. There is a damp smell however this didn't bother me it seemed a small problem for my roommate.
Would 100% stay again, next time I will stay in dorms for a different experience and to keep the cost down but will be returning here.
