Situated right at the edge of the old town, it's perfectly placed to explore. Comfy beds. The only English channel I found was Bloomberg TV but I didn't come to watch TV anyway. Lobby is very plush and comfy with lots of couches, a restaurant/bar/cafe area and good ambience. Never crowded. Climate control in the room was great. Can't turn the temperature lower than 18 degrees Celsius but that's good enough. Bathroom was huge (stayed in the deluxe room). Well stocked mini bar. Didn't drink anything from there except water, which was about 2 EUR per bottle, so, very reasonable. Bus 23 from the airport stops about a 2 min walk away from the hotel, which is very convenient. Wifi was great. The hotel is also a casino in the back, but you wouldn't really notice that at all if you're just staying there. Free cookies upon check in. Delicious. Would stay again. A+

We have always had a very pleasant stay at Doubletree in Kosice. It is always our hotel of choice.

Couldn’t fault it

We only stayed for one night, but overall the DoubleTree had everything we could’ve wanted. Pretty generous room sizes considering what we paid and the bathroom was spotless (and good quality shower). We had a nice view over Kosice from our room, as we were several floors up.
Check in was smooth, the check in lady was nice and gave us free cookies.
I am not sure what other reviewers are referring to when they say the lobby is dingy / not welcoming. I think the lobby is smart and well lit.
We didn’t eat breakfast here so can’t comment on the food, but the hotel is 5 minutes walking distance to the old town.
Recommend.

Great location and excellent service
The hotel was very good - clean, with perfect service, and located right in the center of town, which was very convenient. The breakfast was also very good and varied.
There was a short power outage during our stay, which caused some inconvenience as the elevator and lobby lights weren’t working for a few hours. However, overall it was a great experience and we would be happy to come back.
