Amazing views of the mountains and the gorges from one location.

We had a lovely room- an apartment with a balcony and small kitchenette, with en suite bathroom for a very reasonable price. The host was really friendly and welcoming and took us down the road to the strat of one of the gorge walks saving us a long trudge up the road. The breakfast provided and the meals available both in the small restaurant a short walk down the road were great and it was really nice to sample local cooking. Beer in the bar (pictured) is 'on tap' and guidebook information in English is provided in the rooms which we found really helpful.

Excellent place to stay while exploring Slovak Paradise

Slovak Raj villa has 4 rental studios on the top floor. It is newly constructed and it shows the owners take pride in running it. They had a small chicken coup in the yard with several chicken and one ostrich in it - adds to the uniqueness :)
Our studio was well equipped for a short stay with a kitchenette and a small fridge. The owners were very pleasant and caring. They even offer a self-serve draft beer (1 euro for 0.5l beer) based on honor system. Nicely decorated room. Located about 1.5km/ 1 mile from the entrance to the Slovak Paradise.

Friendly Villa

The best place to start hiking in the Slovak Pradise (SP). You could walk to the Beginning of SP named Podlesok. It is 20 min far by foot.
Villa is very nice, extremely clean and keepers are very friendly. Garden is fully equiped for children and also parents :).
Negative points are rooms on the second floor and thin walls, you could hear your neighbors very good...but for us it doesn´t metters, because we were really tired of all-day hike...

the best villa in the Slovak Raj!

he staff is very friendly and kind. the villa area is in the center of many hike trails. the room was very clean and equipped with cookware. in the evening you can relax in the awesome backyard with a cold beer from the villa private beer barrel :)
the rooms are in the 3rd floor so for some people it wont be comfortable.

The gate to slovakian paradise

It a friendy house with four rooms. The host speaks a little german and the hostess a little english. We lived in a studio (room 1) on the second floor of the house.
The beds were very good and the studio was well equiped. The studio has a large flatscreen tv that offers many channels in the English language (for the rainy days).
Downside is that if the neighbors talk loud you can follow the conversation verbatim.
Outside they offer a nice landscaped garden.
