Beautiful moments in the Nízke Tatry

I want to highlight this hotel with all the services, it is an excellent hotel in a good location, the location of the hotel is great (it is also good that there is a bus stop near the hotel if needed). The rooms are spacious and clean, the food (we had half board) plentiful and you could always choose, enough of everything, the staff very pleasant, helpful and friendly. I also didn't miss anything in the wellness area and I enjoyed it. The password of the hotel (that you will want to come back here) is significant and I take it as my own. I believe I will come back here.

The last snow

Just down the mountains is this wonderful hotel. Very pleasant indeed. Rooms, food absolutely fine. Peace and nature outside, the possibility of a walk around the river, where there are wonderful views of the mountains, where you can still see snow. The hotel has a large wellness area with a swimming pool, so families with children can enjoy themselves as needed. Really nice destination.

Short family holiday

In last three years, me and my family stayed at the Hotel Bystrá three times. For each tíme, we were very happy with all. Really good location under the south of Low Tatras. The hotel has absolutely perfect employess, they are very kindly.
Many options for relax inside and outside of the hotel. Especially, enjoyment for the children is really good.
But I think, the most important is amazing home kitchen. Great selection in breakfast and in dinner.
I have not yet found a better place for a vacation in Slovakia
I am looking forward to our next Visit, hope this year again!

Rude staff - Recommend to avoid this place

An apartment I rented nearby offered free 2-hour passes to the water world at this hotel. This was a nice way to check it out and see if we want to stay at this hotel on our next trip. Well, to our surprise, when we came to redeem the free entry tickets we were told these tickets were actually discount tickets and we were quoted virtually a full entry price. Workers were very rude to us especially Lubica Geregaiova. It seemed like this was a scam set up by the hotel to get guests of nearby private places to come to the water world, offering a free entry ticket and surprising them with a hefty bill. And people that work there like Lubica are fed up with all these people that then show up with all these free vouchers. Totally disappointing. I would have been happy to pay full price but left me feeling scammed and unwelcome.

first of all, we apologize for inconvenience regarding the entrance to the wellness centre.
According to the informations I got, this 2-hours passes are not free of charge for the apartment you were stayed in. This concrete apartment has only discount from the price, not entrance free of charge.
I presume, this misunderstanding was the main problem.
We will connect with the apartment and prepare new kind of ticket, which will be more clear from clients point of view. Plus we will ask this apartment to more clarify the conditions for the entrance into our water & sauna world for their clients, before visiting our wellness, so there will be no more misunderstanding.
Thank you for the understanding, there was no plan to deceive you at all.

Nice place for family stay

Our stay in Hotel Bystra was at the end of June, for 3 days. Hotel has a beautiful surroundings. Hotel itself is equipped with first class wellness with good saunas. The staff is very friendly, young and open to assist. Nothing to complaint, only a bit weak wifi
