Great stay experience
Located just opposite shaw plaza- convenient for dining and supermarket. The apartment is spacious and clean. Washer/ dryer is really useful for longer stay. Staff are helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for a stay!

The location is perfect, with excellent public transport connections. The staff is very helpful, and the property has a 24-hour reception. The shower is very spacious, and the restaurant offers special rates for guests.

Happy Journey
New to Singapore, booked a family room, the room is big oh, also clean, - the room is sanitary, there is a place to cook, the most convenient is a washing machine to wash clothes, free your hands. Travel is about not getting too tired.

A comfy property, with friendly neighborly service. Love how they treat us like friends
I have been staying at the Initial for the past 4 years each time I got back to Singapore to visit family. All in all, this is a great comfortable place to stay. First of all, I must highlight it is NOT a hotel, but more like a functional, clean service apartment. Don't have the wrong expectations such as a 4 or 5 star hotel, but rather a nice comfy place (a little like a home away from home) with a friendly crew (Thank you to Joe and SK, the current managers who treated me like family), and this will be the right impression of the Initial.
The location is not 100% convenient (it doesn't have an MRT), but it has several bus routes that go to many locations in Singapore (there are direct buses to the city center for example), and you can easily take a bus to Novena or Toa Payoh MRT stations. The location has lots of eateries and a good shopping mall with an NTUC, so getting groceries are easy)
My only issue with the place is that some customers like to cook heavy duty meals (think spicy food), but this is not a problem with the property.
All in all, I will recommend this place

Initial Residences: A Great Choice for Temporary Accommodation
We opted for Initial Residences as our temporary accommodation while our place was undergoing renovations, primarily due to its strategic location. With Shaw Plaza conveniently located right across, Balestier Market and hawker center just 5 minutes away, and Whampoa Market and hawker center within a 10-minute walk, the area offered ample dining options. Additionally, the property features an underground car park, which allowed me to park my car with ease. Our stay was truly pleasant, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the staff, who were courteous, helpful, and made our experience seamless and comfortable. I would highly recommend Initial Residences to anyone in need of temporary accommodation due to renovations or other circumstances.
