Aqueen prestige lavender a place to stay

It was a nice hotel with very cordial staff. The room looked small relatively. However the room service was good indeed. The cafe where breakfast is served gave Indian choices . There was a good deal of veg varieties to choose from. On the whole it was a very memorable and pleasant experience

Bad customer service experience

Your reception ; Vani used her personal Grab account to book a car for your guests. Guests had kids so she should have booked Grab Kids. I asked her to rebook but she refused to accept the cancellation penalty. Unfortunately due to me trying to reason with her, it caused discomfort for your guests as Instead of accepting her mistake, she chosed to quarrel with me infront of your guests
1. Your staff used her person account to book. Is this a standard service protocol?
2. Since it's her personal account, she has vested interest in the account such as loyalty points and penalties. Which is why she is not willing to accept the mistake and the cancellation penalty
3. Why she refused to follow regulation and book the right services? This put your guest in a possible bad situation if caught by police or accident or insurance coverage
4. As a service staff, she has no empathy for other service staff and insisted that drivers should break the law and take the passengers?
5. Why she allowed the situation to escalate infront of the guests instead of accepting the mistake and move on?
Overall, your hotel has good reviews for location and rooms standard.. Don't let your front facing service standards drop your rating down

hotel at cozy neighborhood of Singapore

The hotel is located at quite cozy neighborhood in Lavender area. It is closer to Bendemeer than Lavender MRT Station, but still on walkable distance.
There are many stalls, cafes, and bars in between hotel and Lavender station for my breakfast to dinner choices. having croissant or prata, congee at local cafe or stalls were my morning routine.
The room it self is clean, the bed perhaps quite hard for some but I had no problem with sleeping at night. The only concern I might have that my room does not have AC fan speed control which I found quite strange.
the rate is reasonable considering the location and facilities.

Short stay, clean spacious room, clean spacious lobby that smells fresh, friendly staff. 10-15 minute walks to lots of restaurants, metro and shopping mall. Had 2 minor issues with my room that staff helped figure out immediately, shoutout to Avni who also was kind enough to give us an upgrade.
