Really friendly staff. perfect location, centrally located between the fortress, St Sava church and the new waterfront area. Decor inside was a little older, but it was in line with the history of the building and the fame of the hotel.
Loved this as a random find for our stay.

Historic hotel with very poor management

At the entrance to the main hall there was a plastic sheet blocking the entrance to the restaurant and bar. No apology or compensation. Of course there are times when renovations need to be done, but you notify the customers and offer compensation. This is what I could see from the famous Moskva hotel! There was a smell from the kitchen in the room and the old air conditioner was making noise. I noticed these inconveniences and the response from the reception was to come back personally the next afternoon to talk to the manager. There was no coffee machine and if I asked for coffee I was told to call room service but to know that coffee would be charged. Strange for a 4 star hotel

What a lovely hotel! We expected an old musty place but instead got a spotlessly clean well maintained property with a huge bed and quiet, high up room perfectly situated from the old part of town and main sights.
Highly recommend the spa, which was included.
A warm welcome and a great price for the location.
The only (temporary) downside - there’s a lot of refurbishment/remodelling work going on which was a little disruptive.

A masterpiece of architecture and style.

I stayed last night in this historic Art Nouveau hotel in the center of Belgrade, one of the most famous hotels in the entire Balkan Peninsula. I took advantage of an offer at a very affordable price, perhaps due to the renovation work that makes 100% of the facility unavailable. The rooms are furnished with style, with antique furniture. The bed is a double made by placing two queen beds side by side held together by a gigantic sheet, practically an oversized king. The room on the fourth floor has a nice view of the Terrasja. The bathroom has no window, but there is also a bidet. The breakfast was truly sumptuous, with a vast assortment of sweet and savory items. There is even prosecco. However, I did not appreciate the coffee dispensed by one of those horrible office machines; here the presence of the machine ruined the overall aesthetics of the long table setup.

This is are favorite hotel in Belgrade! We always stay here before our flight back home. The hitel, the staff, the restaurant, the amninaties are top shelf!!!
