Disaster!
The hotel is central but it doesn't match what you might expect from a 3 star hotel...
It is located on the 6th floor. Floor of a building, which already makes a very shabby impression from the outside. It has two lifts, of which only one is up to the 6th floor. Stock is moving (but it doesn't work). The other lift runs only to the 5th floor. Stock, so the rest you have to go. The staircase is dirty, smells very unpleasant and looks more like a construction site than a hotel.
The lady at the reception explained to us that we still have to pay a tax of 960 dinars. We paid with 1000 dinars, but she could not give us the remaining 40 dinars (about 0.32 Rappen) back because she had no money back (already this makes a very dubious impression). We should contact her colleague after the shift change, who should hand over the change.
The whole floor and the rooms smelled of smoke. The hotel room was so cramped that 2 people cannot walk past each other. In addition, it was (despite 10° outside temperature) crushingly hot in the room and from the outside the noise of a radiator/ventilation/... The view from the room is a disaster, you might think you are in the third world.
We could have changed rooms for an extra charge (!!), but I don't want to spend a night in this hotel.
In short, we decided to move to a different and more reputable hotel...

Great Location, But Disappointing Stay Overall
The hotel has a prime location and the bed was very comfortable—that’s where the positives end.
The bathroom had a strong sewer smell, the toilet seat was broken when we arrived (though it was eventually replaced), and the shower had almost no water pressure. The building itself is also quite unusual—the hotel shares the third floor with the anti-drug enforcement agency, which made the whole experience feel a bit odd.
Unfortunately, despite the great location, I wouldn’t stay here again unless major improvements are made.

Inn well located and good value for Award
Pension well located, right in the historic center. In fact, it is a small apartment with a few rooms on the 6th floor of a building (one of the two elevators only goes to the 5th floor of another Pension - so make no mistake). The restaurant of the same name that is on the square is apparently independent. The reception (open except at night) is competent but a little distant. The rooms are comfortable, clean, spacious and air-conditioned, with minor inconveniences (shower tap a bit shaky). Award quality is good despite the cold place.

One of the terrible hotels
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights.
The troubles started already at the entrance. There are several organizations in the house and the hotel is located on the 6th floor. There is an elevator, but it didn't work; we had to walk up. The next trouble is that the number of floors is calculated differently and in the end you have to go up to about the 8th floor.
The rooms are different from the photos. The main disadvantage: The air conditioner installed outside the window runs 24 hours, and it’s loud. The first night I couldn’t sleep until about one in the morning. We had to look for another hotel to sleep. In the morning I asked for another room. Dali next door. And also with windows to the courtyard, but here there is also noise from the air conditioner. So you can forget about normal sleep in a hotel. Room numbers are 9 and 10. There are already complaints about these rooms on booking. There is also the smell of cigarettes and the stench of sewage in the room. Plus dirty bed linen.

Bad, bad, bad. Avoid!
This is not a serious business. The phone number provided on their website gives "the number is nonexistent," and they didn't reply to several emails. We tried to call them to inform them that we were running late, but there was no way to contact them. Since we arrived just after 11 PM, the door was closed, so we ended up sitting outside in the park for the rest of the night since everything around was fully booked.
Moreover, the elevator going to the sixth floor was not working. I went to the sixth floor, but the elevator door would not open, and it automatically returned to the first floor. It was a scary moment. I ended up having to walk up to the sixth floor to see if there was somebody available to help us out, but to no avail. The whole building inside smelled bad so I assume there is a same smell inside the rooms. Avoid this place.
