Delicious lunch buffet

I came here a couple times to eat lunch with work colleagues, as it was only a short walk form the office. Very cute little restaurant with outdoor seating and artwork. Food is delicious and affordable.

Improvement needed

I recently stayed at this hotel for the 2nd time. Breakfast is served very late because there is no one to prepare. hot water not working. Found twice things in my tea (ustensiles not washed properly). Had to pay 5000 for breakfast the day I arrived yet I thought it is inclusive. There is a popular restaurant at the location therefore there is sooooo much noise until late in the evening.

Nice and friendly atmosphere

Had a very pleasant stay in this well located hostel the hostel had nice rooms. The staff was very sweet and helpful with any questions callings taxi and so on, the breakfast was good value for money.

Murugo had everything we needed. It is a great location, in an authentic Kigali neighbourhood. It has a beautiful garden to sit out in and a nice view. It was clean and comfortable. The employees were incredible: friendly, kind, helpful and attentive. David, the owner, seems to know everyone in Kigali, so there were often interesting people having drinks and dinner in the evenings. During the day there is a delicious lunch buffet that locals also come to. Murugo means "home" in Kinyawanda, and it definitely felt that way during our three-week stay.

A home away from home

Murugo means home in Kinyarwanda and David Musoni has created just that, a home away from home for those traveling.
I loved every moment spent there.
Detail to decor. The space. The grounds. The restaurant. The staff so sweet, attentive and warm, which is reflected in David and his energy as a leader. VERY affordable and super clean !!!
I cannot recommend this place more !!! And SUPER clean !!! A great plus !!!
