Excellent hotel clean great location and staff are really friendly

Excellent location and Paul the manager was very attentive. The rooms are immaculate and it’s the best night sleep I’ve had in ages. Would highly recommend this hotel. The library bar is connected to the hotel and is a lively vat to have a drink. The cocktails are amazing.

Clean and tidy - Room only - so don't expect 'hotel' facilities and meals

Nice and clean and tidy with friendly people and great price. Remember there is no breakfast - and no other 'hotel' type facilities. So as a room for the night it was fine - but the word 'hotel' seems misleading. Also - parking on the road out front can be difficult.

Never again, ever.

The place was depressing, dirty and the chap on reception was filthy. The room was tiny, shower was useless. I would have left there and then but it was late in the day when we arrived. The pictures advertised can't be from this hotel.... do not go here.

Not for me

So I've stayed here a couple of times after being booked through my company.
Pros -
Staff are friendly,
Communal microwave available,
Beds are comfy,
Good location
5mins walk from beach front
Cons -
Rooms are very outdated,
Pretty cold during the day,
Internet is very weak which is t great for business stays,
Above a pub which can get quite loud on a night - this may suit others better than me,
Water pressure is very poor and it's pretty temperamental getting the temperature correct,
Seems to be a drainage issue as water tends to build up in the toilets and sinks and sometimes that leaves a smell.

Very disappointing

This hotel is very very disappointing my partner jammed his finger in fire door told them they just shrugged there shoulders these doors are very heavy for people. Heating was on a timer switch so room was freezing. It is very outdated and poorly run I will definitely not be back
