A very good weekend was had by all

The location was perfect for weekend
The staff (Aggie and Jimmy) we're very good and friendly

Local staff good, but Premier Inn as a business was poor

The electricity failed in the hotel and we were told to leave at 9:30 pm. I understand that sometimes things like this happen, but no alternative accomodation was arranged, and we were left trying to find something at a late hour on Friday evening. I don't blame the staff at the hotel, who were coping with the situation as best they could, but Premier Inn HQ could have stepped in to help arrange alternative accomodation. They didn't. And what's more, I had to phone up the next week to arrange a refund, which took 4 days to arrive, and no compensation for the disruption was made.

This hotel was ok. Parking is only free from 5pm-9am.
The room was hot even though it was air conditioned

Very good

I tend to choose 4* and above hotels, so I don't stay in Premier Inns often. We live local to this hotel and stayed because of the hot weather. Some of the previous reviews made me worry a little about what to expect - I say ignore them! This is a lovely little Premier Inn.
It is above the restaurants, so the ground floor entrance is functional rather than welcoming, as is the reception area - self check in screens and maybe one member of staff about. The room was shades of beige, but clean and tidy and the beds were SO comfortable - we slept like logs, especially with the air con. Plenty of tea and coffee to keep me happy. Breakfast in the morning was good, plenty of drinks, option of hot food and bread / cereals. There were locals coming in just for breakfast. We had a family member meet us for breakfast and staff made her feel very welcome. The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming, even in the heatwave. We left very impressed and my children want to come again! Thank you for looking after us :)

Lovely stay

I had a lovely stay the room was very comfortable and clean and tom was great at breakfast definitely recommend !
