Nice hotel for a stop over on the NC500. Close to John o Groats and Thurso.
No complaints and a great breakfast choice and service.

The room was clean, small but cozy. Good value for money for a popular destination. One minor thing was being able to hear the music from the bar in the roombut this wasn’t an issue after 11pm

Great second visit.

Great stay, thank you. Friendly, prompt and efficient staff. Answered questions helpfully. Excellent value for money. Delighted with stay (have been before).

A great Scottish welcome.

The northern sands was very welcoming with friendly staff. The food was great and it was a fun atmosphere. Ann was particularly helpful and went out of her way to look after us. The hotel was very good value.

Sunday lunch at its best

We called in on a busy Sunday lunch service, no tables were available but the staff sat us down with drinks and menus and took our order. When the food was ready we were moved to the dining room. The food was all delicious, piping hot and plentiful. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Could not fault anything We will be back soon thanks guys!
