AVOID

AVOID. Never had a chance to stay there because there was double booking and as a replacement room Ive got in archies house, which was instead of apartment an 8m2 box room. Didn't got refund either.

We got lucky with a clean no hassle room won’t return though

Me and 2 friends recently stayed for one night and it and seems we had a better stay and room than others, location seems rough and other people staying there didn’t seem the most trustworthy people. We stayed on the top floor room surprisingly the room was clean cons being the hot tap was broken in the bathroom and the mattresses were broken to a point my friends sunk in them and the beds were damaged ( new beds and mattress needed) bathroom was clean but no soap also saw a cable running upward and a sock over the smoke alarm. Based on the lack of staff ( we only saw a cleaner their) and other people we saw staying there I feel like it’s used a lot for illegal activity. When running a tap the boiler (in the room) makes a loud noise. As a group of men stating 1 night it was ok for us but wouldn’t take the risk and stay again.

Sleep in your car if necessary...

The room was utterly disgusting, and as there was no-one available to speak to we had no choice but to find an alternative place to stay

Avoid

Booked to stay from 5th - 10th July when I arrived my room had been double booked. They then put me into a different room with out a kitchen which i originally paid for. 10 minutes later they then asked me to move room again to an even more of a a down graded room without refunding part of what I paid. The first room I went into there were still old bedsheets on the bed from a previous booking! Absolutely disgusted I ended up leaving. AVIOD!

Unfortunately there is was nothing enjoyable about this stay apart from the fact there was parking right outside.
The check in was ‘done’ by a young girl who opened the front door as we were struggling to use the code given. She explained the electronic lock was not working as homeless people had broken it and told us to use the side entrance.
She took our names and what room number I’d been given and disappeared to talk to someone, when she came back she said we could go to our room which was on the first floor.
The hallway was dated but clear of clutter. There was another electronic lock to our room which did work. The room definitely did not look anything like any of the photographs on the listing.
There was a metal double bed frame which had a small double mattress on it, very tired looking bedding, and for some reason in a decent sized room it was pushed right in to the corner up against the wall.
The bedside table and fan looked to be decades old and looked like they’d been stored in a filthy garage for years and brought out for us to use. The same goes for the unmatched chest of drawers.
There was an en-suite, with a 1/3 of a roll of the cheapest toilet paper, no towels (as shown in photographs) so we couldn’t have had a shower even if I’d have wanted to have stepped foot in it.
There was paint peeling off the walls, there was a kettle and several packets of coffee but no mugs/cups to use them, the tiniest tv I’ve ever seen (did not try to turn it on and there was no remote anyway), the entire room was grubby, tired, and not somewhere we wanted to spend any time in.
Fortunately we had a gig we needed to get to so left within 5 minutes of arriving .
When we arrived back after midnight there was a big group of men sat at the front and we used the side entrance as instructed. The gate was wide open, when we walked through it there were more groups of men hanging round the open doors to the property . We walked through the dismal, grubby communal areas where a man was crashed out on a sofa. It did not feel to be a safe environment .
As it had been so hot we had thought to bring our own fan but even that didn’t help cool the room down and it was stifling. We slept on rather than in the bed and couldn’t bear to look at the mattress given the state of the room.
People might ask why we stayed however given the time of night, having had a few drinks during our night out we were unable to drive anywhere and were concerned about leaving the car behind.
Whilst I appreciate those that run the place cannot help the weather, the weather is not the only reason we had the worst nights sleep I’ve ever had in a place we have booked. We travel around the UK a lot and frequently book budget places to stay, never have we stayed in a place as bad as this. Whatever you do not stay here.
