Excellent food and service.

Group of friends booked and pre ordered early evening dinner.
Lovely welcome on arrival.
Table ready for us.
Excellent friendly efficient service.
All meals of a high standard. Hot plates, hot food, good portions but above all of very high standard.
My salmon was excellent.All diners mentioned quality of food.
Desserts were off a ok ish standard apart from sticky toffee pudding which was excellent.
Good value, would not hesitate to recommend and revisit.
Only negative was really uncomfortable chairs which need seat cushions on them.
Coffee machine not working soon coffee available sadly.

Excellent service, food and accommodation.

A wonderful welcome. Staff were so accommodating and friendly. The cabin we stayed in was beautiful. So comfortable, furnished to a high standard, better than most 4/5* hotels we have stayed in. The food in the restaurant is great, much better than your average 'pub grub'. The local beers are excellent. Would definitely, highly recommend.

Booked but it was shut. No communication

Booked but when we turned up it was shut. No communication about this. Would not recommend at all. Had to find alternative solution. Devasted by the situation we found ourselves in. Likely we did find an alternative which was lovely. We will not be back and suggest if you book this place please have a backup plan.

Yet another 5 Star review

Just back from a two-night stay. Really clean and spacious accommodation. Good size car park. Separate entrance for accommodation. Made very welcome in the bar and received some excellent advice for visits. No hesitation in recommending it.

Fabulous stay

Excellent warm welcome , lovely room. Clean, bright. Fabulous fluffy pillows and quilts. All amenities great. Peaceful. Lovely shower.
Excellent meal , beer and service in the pub! Definitely recommend, hope to stay again.
Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent location.
