The terrace and views are stunning. The quality of the food is just spectacular.
Lovely property.
Jacper and Alek in the bar/restaurant are great and made for a really enjoyable visit.
Spa is ok depending on what you’re expecting. Fine if you want to do some laps and a quick sauna/steam.

Food service was a mess. The first day we ordered food at the bar where we were given the wrong burger and when asked about it none of the staff could confirm it was wrong they needed the kitchen to confirm. Then we were gaven the old menu for breakfast so when we ordered half of the items weren't available, the second day when we ordered a sandwich to the room (in the middle of the day) it took over an hour to arrive, even after 2 phone calls to see where it was. On the other mornings there was always something missing that was ordered like toast or eggs. Other than all the food issues the staff were lovely and the hotel setting was fantastic.

Where was the chef?
We stayed at Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa for a murder mystery weekend in a superior double room. The room was fine, nothing exciting but clean and with a satisfactory range of facilities.
We had a wonderful time at the event but the food was bitterly disappointing, verging on the inedible. Hugely overcooked fish which was barely warm and curdled creme brulee. I think there was an 'extra' murder that evening - because the chef couldn't have been on duty and served up such a poor offering.

disappointed
Lovely building & location . Very disapointed on reception greeting . felt unprofessional quite rude when questoning whether we were having breakfast or not.. Not what we expected from a hotel of this class ...

Wonderful weekend
Lovely stay at Nutfield Priory to celebrate my birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, not least thanks to the staff who were friendly and attentive - nothing was too much trouble. (Shout out to Alek for the banter at dinner and Kacper for the delicious White Russian.)
The room was clean and quiet, the food was outstanding, the wine list was fab, and the gym was well equipped. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.
