Private dining - wedding lunch

Second visit for private dining at Hotel du Vin Poole, and it was outstanding. We celebrated our wedding lunch and it was perfect, everyone enjoyed the food and drink and the service was spot on. Very friendly and very helpful. Would be more than happy to book again.
A special shoutout to Jess for organising it and Paul for looking after us.
The terrace table was a very nice touch before the lunch started and we really enjoyed it.

Charming peaceful romantic break

Absolutely delighted with our last minute decision to stay here. We arrived on a busy bustling Friday night, but were pleasantly surprised by the peaceful quaint side street it’s situated on. Attentive staff, who were friendly and welcoming. Our room was charming and I was extremely pleased we were staying in the oldest part of the building. Full of character, loved the modern quirky touches that blended well with the historical past. Would highly recommend a stay here. Hotel du Vin thank you - best nights sleep I’ve had in ages.

Air conditioning in the room incredibly hard to use effectively leading to very poor sleep

We had a warm welcome and an easy check-in, the bistro/bar/outside area was a lovely setting in the evening sunshine and a great spot for breakfast in the morning, the room was a good size and everything was clean. We had a good sleep in the comfy bed and pillows. The hotel was easy to find having arrived by train and ideally located to the night life, close enough to stroll down but not so close you would be disturbed by it. Great weekend stay.

Dinner in the Bistro

I went for dinner in the bistro the other evening. The waitress was incredible, she provided personal recommendations for food and wine whilst checking back on us throughout every course. The food could have been better, however the evening was redeemed by the attentive staff. Special thanks to Eva & Zack for making it such a lovely evening.
