Lovely Hotel, With service second to none.

My partner and I stayed at (hotel) over this weekend. It was a last minute booking, as I had a booked a nearby hotel, but a day before we were due to leave. I noticed it had a lot of negative reviews.
As it was for my partners birthday I didn’t want to chance it, so I looked what was close to us and (hotel) came up.
I am so glad that we booked with (hotel) they went above and beyond for me. I asked last minute if they could put chocolates and flowers in our room, as a surprise for my partner. They were happy to help! They even kept the cost off the invoice, in case my partner saw when we were checking in. Which I thought was a simple but nice touch!
The hotel has such lovely character and was very clean! The beds were very comfortable and cosy! We only stayed one night, but would happily stay again!
The breakfast was included in our price and had a great selection, from cereals, fruit, pastries, yogurts and cooked breakfasts
Would definitely recommend! Thank you again, for making our stay so special.

Not worth repeating

The hotel looks nice on the outside but inside it was not really cozy. Breakfast was not so special, very simple, only white and brown bread, only natural yogurt, the fruit came from cans. Only regular coffee, no bottles of water in the room (water from the tap you could not drink). Rooms were not cleaned, no clean towels (slept 2 nights there). Immediately upon arrival report that the toilet seat was loose and fell off when you sat on it, nothing done. Passed on again, still broken, when we left it was still not fixed.
Our room had 2 windows, one facing a wall and the other facing a........wall. definitely not worth repeating.

excellent hotel and great location

excellent hotel and great location. Warm welcome even though arrived late after drive from Ullapool. Breakfast was very good and great service.

Highly Recommended Hotel

I cannot recommend the Dungarroch Hotel highly enough. My friend and I have been going there for four years and the standard is consistently high. Clean comfortable rooms, wonderful breakfasts and delicious dinners. The same staff have been there for each of our visits which says something positive about the management. They are friendly, welcoming and helpful. There is plenty space for cars and the views from the dining room are magnificent.

Decent hotel, better to have dinner elsewhere

Family room was clean and reasonably comfortable, but somewhat cramped. Very few plugs available, none on bedside tables. Bath/shower combo not easy to use. Dining room is a beautiful space with a nice view. Friendly waitstaff. Dinner menu uninspiring, limited selections -- food was okay but not memorable. Lounge area is comfortable, but restaurant/bar close early. Unpleasant experience at check in with quibbling over reservation made through 3d party booking site, but they honored rate. Ample parking. It's a long walk to town, so better for those with cars. Very cute town
