Lovely home

About to check out today. We had a lovely stay in the deluxe family room. Dog friendly. It’s a beautiful house, lovely grounds in a pretty village. We have only seen 2 people whilst here and they were both very pleasant. Room had everything you need and was well decorated and clean. Would definitely stay again :))

Beautiful location

Had one night at Lingwood Hall and had a very enjoyable stay. Four friends in one large room, great location, clean and well equipped with fridge microwave, kettle and tea and coffee provided. Lovely big bathroom, comfortable beds and would definitely stay again

Lovely stay at lingwood hall

Lingwood hall is a lovely building,We had 2 rooms which were very large and clean we were very comfortable and very warm lungwood hall has lovely gardens which you can walk round and it is all dog friendly . We would definitely come again p.s they don’t do breakfast anymore but u have got tea, coffee ect with a microwave and a fridge in your room x

Reluctant to stay again

Visited Lingwood Hall as my partner and family were staying there for a friend's party.
The grounds are lovely, however the room itself, we had mixed feelings about.
We had 2 rooms between us, the one my partner's mum was staying is was lovely and cosy. We however stayed in the opposite. The bedsheets were stayed, and the throw over the end of the bed looked like either food or makeup stains. I have incredibly sensitive skin, and so the sheets flared it up.
I went to put a few bits in the fridge, given that breakfast isn't provided (which is fine and we were aware of), but had to throw everything away as the smell of the fridge was vile. I couldn't empty it myself even as I couldn't stop gagging!
The microwave simply stunk. It was like one of those cheap curry microwave meals.
The first thing I did upon arrival was disinfect the fridge and microwave.
I see in other reviews that the owners are quite defensive, however except for checking in, we did not see them around at all.
The shower head was faulty too, which meant you couldn't get in/out the shower without soaking the carpet in the bathroom.
I'd be reluctant to stay here again, unfortunately. It has so much potential, however is outdated and unclean.

Don’t bother , we left after one night even though we had booked for two !

0 - so bad we didn’t stay the second night and would rather take the financial hit and stay at home ! You go through dirty corridor of the ladies house with all her family on the wall and their coats and shoes about, go up some dirty steps to a room with the ‘ kitchenette ‘ amounting to a microwave balanced on a small fridge and a kettle and toaster, the bedding was old and stained, the bed hurt my back, I charged my phone behind the bed and wished I hadn’t looked as it was covered in grime and dirt, the towels were mouldy and we didn’t want to use, the tv remote had buttons missing and only worked once I had tuned it my self ! We hated it so much we left after one night !
