Not just a pub with rooms but much much more

I was very pleasantly surprised. What a lovely place. I stayed in room 4 and omg what a nice room spotlessly clean and the bathroom gad all mod cons. Very nice. I ate dinner and the food was really really nice. I asked what was good and told the steak and black pudding pie was good. It’s wasn’t just good it was sooooo good. Thanks Alex for perfect service I know you were rushed of your feet but you were the perfect host. Thanks

Food

Booked a table as this pub, 5 mins walk from our campsite, lovely pub, great staff and welcoming, I order steak pie with mash n veg, steak pie was wonderful, chunks of steak, soft, melt in the mouth, beautiful gravy, mash was good, veg absolutely fine, well worth a visit.

I would like to thank the amazing bar staff, she was absolutely wonderful. She catered for all my needs and beyond. She took time to chat and make me feel welcome and comfortable. I would like to let management know what a fantastic asset you have. Thank you Chloe you are amazing. I would also like highly recomend the Old Stables.

Friendly, with good food

We used it as a stop for our campervan , nice level carpark ..
We had dinner there , two courses plus a bottle of wine and other drinks , £80
Chilli and Haggis for mains , then ice cream - can recommend
Staff very friendly and the Belhaven Best was a treat ..

Lunch out with hubby , trying out their new menu /cafe

Lunch out with hubby , he had their homemade lentil soup which he said was delicious and I had the cheese savoury sandwich which was served with coleslaw and crisps ( also salad if you wish ) I had a latte ☕️and hubby had a refreshing shandy , so if you’re in the area please pop in , it’s open 10:30 -2 every day , Sunday 12-6 x
